When our food finally arrived after an extremely long wait it was actually tasty. But everything surrounding that moment was disappointing. The area where we were seated was freezing, and even after we asked to be moved, we were told no, despite several empty tables in plain sight. To make matters worse, there were no desserts available, the biscuits were cold and doughy, and several menu items including the southern fried chicken were unavailable.
After all of that, we asked if anything could be done to acknowledge the poor experience. Instead of empathy, the manager responded with rudeness and told us not to ask for any complimentary consideration. It didn’t end there. Once we paid and began browsing the shop, that same manager followed us around the store, making us feel watched and unwelcome.
It’s sad to say, but after this experience, we won’t be returning to the Roseville location. A meal should never come with discomfort, disrespect, and unnecessary hostility.

Came in for some salt and pepper shakers for the wife and decided to stay and grab a bite as it had been a while. Server was ok but the food was delicious, the butter pecan french toast bake looked a bit odd when it came out but it hit the spot! Wasn’t there long but the shakers did take a ridiculous 50% price increase unfortunately. Used to be $.99 and now they are $1.49, that’s a heck of a jump… Have to pay for the remodels, oh wait, they scratched that idea because it was not a smart decision in the first place.. No clue why the jumped so much in price.

I remember coming here as a kid every weekend for breakfast. Came a few times as an adult and boy must I tell you disappointing and went down the drain. Hashbrowns are not the same pancake toppings are not the same , flavor is no longer there. But let’s talk about today’s experience my sister ordered stuff pancakes, and she specifically asked the waitress Will the pancakes be cooked with cheesecake in them? The waitress said yes, but when it came to the table, it’s a pancake flipped into a taco with cheesecake filling. Probably four strawberries on it had to ask for more. Asked for a specific cheese got whatever Came out the kitchen. Hashbrowns were burnt on the outside, not done on the inside. Eggs awful and was not scrambled. Hash brown casserole was burnt as well and majority just cheese. And before I ordered my pancakes, I asked do they still have peaches they told me no, but they said they have apples Like I said before I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. When did they stop putting the fruit on top of it for you? The food runner that brought the food told me I can just put it on top myself. I told her she could just take it back and not charge me and she walked off and talked about me in the kitchen. Loud enough for me to hear . It was now going back-and-forth for anything I don’t understand. Why is it a problem if I’m not satisfied and I’m not trying to be confrontational just take it back. Definitely wasn’t gonna send anything back if you’re mad that you’re not serving the plates properly Whipped cream and everything was on the side, as if I did not dine in. Why order pancakes with apples if it’s on the menu if you’re going to put it on the side anyway? Complete experience was terrible and a waste of money. All these changes with the food, I definitely will not be returning to any location. With food being so high, we don’t have time to play with it. Waitress was great Can’t blame her for the kitchen and food runner mistakes. And the only reason in the pictures it’s apples on my pancakes because the waitress insisted she take it back. The runner could’ve offered that but first she wanted to give me her attitude. Then she wanted to tell me she could take it back. Honestly, the food was trash, but she topped it off With her poor attitude at 8 o’clock in the morning.

3/5 Cracker Barrel ended up being on par with what I expected. This was our first time ever trying the food there and I like that you can order breakfast all day. I normally wouldn’t want syrup with my pancakes or the amount of butter that was given, but that’s how you manage flavor. While our server was kind, she ended up missing something that we ordered to-go. Now we’ll never whether the $5 take and bake meals are any good!

The issue started when I came to pick up my order and called and gave the worker my curbside spot number and I watched someone come out with a horrible attitude walk to the wrong car while staring at me, and rolling their eyes. They then turned around went back in and decided to put my order back on the shelf. So then I went inside to pick it up. I ordered BBQ Bacon Smoke Stack burger which I ordered it well done and when I started eating my burger I noticed it was very pink and not to mention there was barely any sauce on my burger and it was cold. I already waited 40 minutes to get my order and dealt with nonsense so I didn’t even get it remade because I didn’t want to deal with more unprofessional customer service/bad service. You can tell the workers here put in zero effort and don’t have the right attitudes or work ethic. Do not eat here if you want a good meal.

I haven’t been to Cracker Barrel in a while but the food was pretty good. The strawberry peach lemonade was to die for. But the best part…Valerie our waitress was fantastic. Definitely one of the best servers I’ve experienced. She represents the corporate culture I’m sure Carrel Barrel wishes throughout its franchise.

Hashbrown scramble no good. Hasbrowns tasted disgusting. None of the toppings like green onion, tomato and sour cream were on it, had to ask why. Decided to get pancakes and eggs. Asked for the eggs to be scrambled hard… this is what I received (look at pics) even on the remake. Manager commented they were that way because they’re made on a griddle! Duh?! What restaurant doesn’t cook eggs on the griddle? Yet, they still come out scrambled like they’re supposed to. Obviously the cook doesn’t know what he’s doing. Left the eggs as a hard flat square instead of flipping and chopping the eggs to ACTUALLY scramble them. Get a new cook!!
Also ordered the BBQ stackhouse burger. Didn’t have the BBQ sauce on it or the pickles. Not a good experience at this location AT ALL!!

This was absolutely the worst breakfast I ever had. The eggs had so many shells in it, the bacon and sausage were extremely old and the pancakes were so dry. The worst part was the dirty cutlery.

Came in today with two friends for a late breakfast around noon. Tammy was the sweetest and most amazing waitress ever. She truly went above and beyond for us and it did not go unnoticed. The food was just as amazing. We were seated immediately and I love the pay by phone option on the receipt. A fantastic experience overall.
