Reviews
I’m actually a little bit heartbroken right now. I’ve been coming to California for over 20 years, and I’m just now discovering Salsa & Beer? I feel like I’ve wasted two decades of my life eating anywhere else. This place is an absolute powerhouse.
The Food (aka Heaven on a Plate)
From the moment you sit down, they hook you. That bean dip they bring out with the chips? I could honestly eat it with a spoon and call it a day. It’s creamy, savory, and dangerously addictive.
But the real star of the show was the Carne Asada Burrito.
* The Meat: Perfectly seasoned, tender, and actually tasted like it came off a grill, not a steam tray.
* The Size: Huge. Come hungry or prepare for leftovers.
* The Flavor: Every bite was better than the last. It’s easily one of the best burritos I’ve had in the valley, if not all of SoCal.
Drinks & Service
You can’t come here and skip the Margaritas. They are delicious—strong enough to know they’re there, but fresh enough to go down way too easily.
The service was incredibly fast. We weren’t left waiting for refills or checking our watches for our entrees. The staff moves like a well-oiled machine.
Final Verdict
I can’t believe how much of a fantastic place this is. If you’re in NoHo, this isn’t just a suggestion—it’s a requirement. My only regret is all those years I spent not knowing this gem existed. Don’t make my mistake!
There was a wait but they have a good queue system with texts to let you know when to come back in.
At first the food seemed expensive but the portions are huge. I got 2 meals worth from the fajitas platter and the free chips and bean dip.
Highly recommend.
Would for sure recommend planning on leftovers or split a meal.
There is a salsa bar with lots of options.
If you are going for lunch or any busy times, the lot may be full requiring offsite parking.
I always get their carne asada combo plate. Their food comes in big portions and is worth the price. The food is so filling that I can never finish it. The beans and chips is really good.
