Very good food & service. I wish I’d gotten the name of our waitress so I good give her a shout out. Both myself & my wife though she was really on top of things.
Food was excellent. I HIGHLY recommend the Molcajeta de Herradura. Slightly spicy, very slightly , but tons of food,…I’m a big guy & can eat. Couldn’t finish it…almost, but not finished.
Wife had enchiladas – also substantial in quantity & very flavorful per my wife.
Margaritas were delicious…bot regular & strawberry. Pretty wide drink selection
Restaurant is clean, modern & well laid out.

We usually eat at the Coal Valley location but stopped into the Silvis location for a date night. All of the staff were very welcoming and kind and the food was amazing as always. The restaurant was very clean and we always love the decor. You can tell they put so much thought and effort into what they do, we definitely recommend them if you’re looking for someplace new to try!

I’ve been here twice and will keep coming back. The food is always so fresh and filling for the price you pay. Their chorizo queso is highly recommended as the appetizer. It tastes amazing! Worth the price! Staff is very welcoming and gives excellent service. It’s a nice place to have dates, hangout with family, or even dine by yourself.

I have been to La Herradura in Silvis several times since they have been open. This review is of mixed opinion.
I enjoy going to the Silvis location but had an experience recently that needs to be made aware of to those paying cash.
We paid our bill with cash and the waitress, Nancy, said she would be back with our change. When she did not return we got up to go to front and met Nancy at the desk to get a bag for our leftovers. She did not offer our change back. Instead of making a big deal we left. Our bill was $45 and gave her $60.
I want to point out she did a great job and was attentive. Usually, I tip between 20 to 25%.
I understand times are tight but as a consumer I want to spend my dollars and I seek out great places with great experiences. I also work in a tip base industry and understand the value of tipping to service people. However, I have never taken advantage of my guest. In order to make a couple extra dollars. Instead, I’d rather have them coming back.
My experience at La Herradura started exceptional but ended in disappointment.
The food was great and arrived timely. The atmosphere was busy and loud. I am not sure when I will be back but will give the restaurant another try in distant future. In the meantime, there are other restaurants in the area where I can spend my money where I enjoy the whole experience and will not be taken advantage of.

Amazing food!! Amazing prices! Our waiter was top service!! It was our first time ever going there. Kept hearing friends talk about it and I’m so glad we finally went!! I’m already telling other family members about it and sharing pics of my food!! This will be my first place to go eat! Thank you

We had these guys cater our Christmas meal. Ohhhhhh this is the place to do it from! Price was good, food was great, they went over and beyond with bring plates, napkins, silverware, serving utensils. The delivery was on time, portions were unbelievable. I’m one happy lady!!

I recently visited La Herradura in Silvis, Illinois, and while the experience was decent, it didn’t quite stand out. The Mexican-style dishes were solid and well-prepared, offering a range of familiar flavors. The food wasn’t bad by any means, but nothing about it wowed me or made me eager to return. Overall, it’s a good option if you’re in the area and craving some Mexican food, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression. I’d give it a 3.5-star rating. worth trying, but not a must-return for me.

We love La Herradura for a family lunch or dinner out. The menu is extensive so there is always something for everyone. We appreciate the house hot sauce, the chips and salsa are always good. I enjoy the enchilada verde, lunch fajitas or any tacos.
