I wish I didn’t need to be so critical but this food is just such low quality and it isn’t exactly cheap. $10 for two chicken tacos with a side of Mexican rice and refined beans? The chicken was tough and chewy. Just not very good. Probably better off spending a couple bucks more to takeout from an actual Mexican restaurant instead of this fast food dive.
Amazing job on the quesa birrias, thank you for the delicious lunches.
The older girl working the drive through is very rude. She doesn’t seem like she wants to be there. When I asked her for green sauce with my food she totally ignored me.
This place has become very over priced for fast food American Mexican food. They are charging full service restaurant prices and the quality is fast food. I know this the Cave Creek but this is ridiculous and the food is not that good. The tacos barely have any meat and charging almost 2.00 for a side of cheese or sour cream. It would be one thing if their 15.00 to 17.00 burros and and over 20.00 meals let you add sides. And they can’t blame food cost because non of the other locations prices are like this.
I FINALLY got the correct order when I tried the California Burrito. It was good, and what I had hoped it would be the first time I tried to get one. Meat is good, ingredients are good, sizable, and fair price. I will continue to update my review as I experience this place.
First experience (3 Star)
The guy taking my order didn’t know the ingredients, so I had to make sure my order was correct. It tasted pretty good.
Second Experience (1 star)
I ordered a California burrito, got nothing of the sort. Steak and a little salsa, no cheese, no fries. I don’t know how you screw that up, but they succeeded.
It’s not hard to take an order, and not hard to prepare it correctly. Just add the correct ingredients and you’re good.
I hope they can fix these issues because It’s literally across the street. Come on management, GET IT TOGETHER!!!!
