If you are looking for the best halal restaurant in town, look no further than Anthony’s Villa of Lebanon. My experience here was absolutely top-notch from start to finish.
The Food
We ordered the Mix Platter and the Chicken Platter, and both were incredible. The taste was authentic and seasoned to perfection. Every element on the plate, from the tender meats to the fresh salads and creamy hummus, was delicious.
Portions & Presentation: The presentation was beautiful, but be warned—the food portions are huge! We couldn’t even finish half of our platters because they give you so much food.
Dessert: Even though I was completely full, the dessert was so yummy that I couldn’t stop until it was finished. It was the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal.
Ambiance & Service
The ambiance and seating are, so far, the best in town for a halal restaurant. The decor is stunning, featuring beautiful mosaic lamps, ornate mirrors, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay and relax.
Overall Verdict: 10/10. Everything from the food quality to the environment was outstanding. I highly recommend visiting if you want great food and a wonderful setting!
Let me set the scene: I walked into Anthony and Villa of Lebanon thinking I’d be having a light dinner. I walked out an hour later, emotionally attached to a plate of hummus and seriously considering naming my firstborn “Baba Ghanoush.”
The hummus? So smooth it could probably get a job as a motivational speaker. If angels ever learned how to cook, this is what they’d bring to the potluck. The pickled garlic was a great compliment to the rest of the food, and strong enough to ward off vampires, exes, and possibly low self-esteem.
Then came the lamb shawarma. Tender, juicy, perfectly spiced. I took one bite and instantly forgot my own name. I’m pretty sure my phone’s facial recognition didn’t recognize me afterward because I had spiritually ascended.
By dessert, I was too full to move. But then someone said “pistachio baklava” and I suddenly found strength that I didn’t know I had. It was flaky, buttery, and unapologetically sweet. It was so perfect, I almost stood up and clapped.
Service? Impeccable. Our server thanked us, but truly, it was him that we should have been thanking.
In conclusion: this wasn’t a meal, it was a spiritual awakening with extra garlic. 10/10 would risk hummus-induced bliss again.
We went there on a weekday for dinner. It was empty and we were the only ones there.
The service was ok. We expected the tea to be something like a whole leaf tea but it was just a Bigelow tea bag.
We had ordered Baba ganoush as appetizers. It came with an Lavash-like thin bread. The baba ganoush tasted great.
For the main course we ordered for Chicken shawarma plate and a 2 meat (spicy chicken shwarma and lamb) plate.
These came with rice, hummus, pita bread, and salad.
The food overall tasted great. The portion size was large. In the end we had to pick up the left overs and we ate 2 more meals with that next day.
Spicy chicken swarama -5/5
Falafel-5/5
Garlic bread-4/5
Would definitely order more.
