We have never been to any traditional Korean restaurant; only Korean BBQ.
We were welcomed and seated right away. The server helped us understand the menu and made suggestions. She gave us rice and the sides sampler even though they didn’t come with our meals.
Orange chicken would only be served with meat, no vegetable or rice so we were glad she added them. The sauce has orange pieces but is very thin so it made the fried chicken less crispy.
The class noodles in Japchae were very difficult to eat bc they were too chewy stringy. The vegetables were very good, fresh and crispy- cooked perfectly. The beef was also tender and well seasoned. There just wasn’t much compared to the noodles. Paired with the pickled cucumbers, kimchi and radishes, the Japchae was good but only marginal by itself, because of the noodles.
The fried dumplings were the best for the night. I would go just for those!
We will return to try other dishes. I appreciated that there was a warm and familiar atmosphere. The customers seemed known and comfortable there, like a nice place for locals.

Stopped by for lunch after working in the yard all weekend. We ordered Gyoza as an appetizer, which I believe is fried. Tasty and quite a sizable order. I went for the Japtangbap, which is a Chinese style fried rice (per our receipt). Me being a noob at Korean food, I didn’t know; BUT! twas tasty nonetheless. If you like a lobster white rice, you’ll enjoy this. It comes with a plethora of seafood including oysters (not for me), mussels (yes please!), shrimp, squid and a side of spicy soup with octopus. I ate as much as I could, stacking up kimchi with each bite. I had to waddle out. So good! The wife ordered the Udon, which comes as is. For those of you who enjoy Udon, be mindful, it’s spicy and has seafood. But is full of flavor, per the wife.
You know, when we lived in Alpharetta Ga, we became accustomed to the smells and tastes of so many amazing Indian restaurants. Lagrange, it seems, is fast becoming a hub for amazing Korean food, you just have to go out and find them. Lagrange is one of those towns with so many chain restaurants that it makes us sad. The wife keeps up with news on new restaurants coming to the area and it always feels like it’s just another bbq, chicken, steak or burger joint being opened, or Mexican, can’t forget Mexican. WE NEED AND WANT MORE SPOTS LIKE K-POCHA!
Anywho, we will be back. Hope to see you there!

We decided to give K Food a try and it was delicious and fresh. We aren’t well versed with Korean food. We both ordered Japchae which she told us doesn’t come with rice. It came with chicken but the menu said beef. It was delicious nonetheless. The server spoke English but it was a bit broken so we didn’t fully understand why we got chicken instead of beef. The japchae was absolutely delicious. Fresh and flavorful..the restaurant was clean. It was much better then I expected because I was judging from the outside. We also enjoyed the side dishes. We will return.

Me and my girlfriend came in right before close, (we felt bad) but they still greeted us with so much respect.. the service was phenomenal, and the food came out quick. They give you hot tea as well! I had a braised mackerel dish and it was so good. The dumplings are so good as well!!! Must try.

Ordered spicey korean fried chicken wings. The chicken was decent but it was sweet&spicey, ” I dont like sugar in my food” and it was a wet sauce I thought it would be a spicey batter and the size of the wings and drums abnormal, “never seen it before”. Overall customer service was good, plus they have plenty other options on menu. Go check em out!!

My second visit at this out-of-way restaurant.
Very good food, service, and friendly staff.
Today, I let them decide my meal.
I was served a nice Jjajangmyeon with fresh noodles made in house.
After my meal, the owners noticed my vehicle/home, I live in a 4-window skoolie, they were very interested and thus lead to some good conversation and them getting a “tour” of the home.
If you want a good meal and friendly interaction, go and visit this restaurant.

The food is so so good and the prices are so reasonable. The staff is so nice, and my waitress gave me side dishes for free even though they didn’t originally come with my order. The tteokbokki is to die for!
