Wonderful spot and really authentic Oaxacan food, please help out the family!

The building burned down recently and it’s a big shame because they offered unique, quality food. The mole was fantastic and the service was amazing

It is definitely one of the places where I ate best when I visited Los Angeles. Seen from the outside you would not give a dollar to the place, but if you go inside you will definitely get a lot of satisfaction from the cuisine.Instead of all the half chains that are present in the area here they cook genuine, and you can find typical Mexican food made at the moment. Very different tastes from Italian cuisine, but appreciable

Highly recommend. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time.

Super fast and kind service, wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and tasty margaritas.

I had the chicken tacos, and mango margarita. My only problem was I wish I had a bigger stomach.

As someone who must have walked past this restaurant so many times, and now that I’ve finally tried it, it’s my new favorite spot.

10/10

The chicken mole tamale was amazing! We also had the tamale de raja and the barbacoa de chivo and everything was really good! Truly a hidden gem, phenomenal Oaxacan food in an unassuming little spot. ¡Todo fue tan delicioso!

A great little place. The food was delicious! I don’t think I’ve ever had real authentic Mexican food. This is very different from your usual texmex menu. Their mole is to die for! Both my husband and I loved our food. ❤️

Went to this place for the first time, because I was tired of trying taco trucks with no flavors. I was told this place was fresh and great food. Well the person who recommended this place was right! Their carne Asada tacos were BOMB! The tacos burst with citrus flavors. Everything here is freshly made. The rice is flavorful and the beans are also delicious. The staff is very friendly. My recommendation would be to revamp the restaurant, because it’s out dated and old looking. Friday and Saturday they have $2.00 tacos so I will be coming back. This place definitely beats a taco truck by far. I definitely recommend this place.

Visiting from out of state and this was one of the few places open past 9. The menu is definitely not a typical Mexican menu so we stuck with what we know. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, we all shared with each other. Would I come back, probably not but still happy we found this place. Only problem was we sat outside as inside it was too small and the section we were at, the lights were out. I didn’t mind but my husband did. Overall the host/waitress was friendly. Also a fee to pay with my debit card so we paid cash.

Such a great, cozy spot! Indoor dining was spacious enough and our party of 5 were lucky to be seated immediately.

The food was superb and delicious. Highly recommend this place to everyone. My group had cóctel de camarón, tamal de dulce, caldo de piedra, menudo, tlayuda, and a few margaritas.

The food does not taste authentic. They use cheap ingredients, cut corners during preparation, and serve low-quality food. For example, the mole tasted straight from a bottle, instead of being made from scratch. They also give tiny protein portions. The food is overpriced for the low quality. I’m giving two stars because the service was good.
