Delicious food & great service. Great local restaurant at the old Oriental Market building on Williamson Rd. Not like the other cookie cutter Mexican restaurants. Make sure to try the fried green plantains!

Very nice pretty lady! Me and my boyfriend got a meal and a pineapple and melon drink. I don’t usually write reviews, but the lady was very nice, the food and drink was not only delicious, and obviously fresh— but it was all extremely refreshing. You’re paying for quality meals that wont make you feel sick afterwards from a whole bunch of grease and preservatives. Will be coming back! The smell was intoxicating! Thank you ma’am for a great lunch ! Your care shows!

With the exception of the, watermelon water this was probably the worst food I have had in years. Now, I did order tacos knowing this was not a Mexican restaurant, so could be on me, however the restaurant identifies as a taqueria.
I am still unsure of the providence of the meat. It was unlike anything I have had before. There was no asada to the Carne Asaga and the Al Pastor had the strangest texture I have ever encountered.
While the texture of the meat was certainly raising questions, the flavor was certainly what put me over the top. There was no charcoal or smoke or even a bit of “costra” to add flavor to the Carne Asada. It actually tasted boiled if that is even possible. The Al Pastor lacked all the flavor that has made me a fan of this genre around the world. Again, it seemed that someone opened a can and dumped it in boiled meat.
My recommendation is that you certainly want to “drive on by”.

My husband ordered our food here today, and his food was fine. Mine, on the other hand, was not. I had a lot of chicken skin and chicken fat in my food… needless to say, I will not be eating here anymore. Waste of money and time.
