Why sell doughnuts that you have to explain are bad or with an excuse at the time of checkout?
Flavor doesn’t even taste right.. its like they just added coloring and its all sticky/runny with the dough bubbled up and underproofed.
This place has gone massively downhill if it sells food that shouldn’t meet it’s own standard.

Did ownership change? A dozen donuts not one was presentable nor at Shipley standards . Kolaches were complete grizzle and the “glazed” donuts were runny and barely there. The filled donuts may have had an attempt at filling but there was a sliver of it and or the donut we received was smashed and squished outside of it .

Very friendly service, the young lady was very sweet and pleasant. Donuts were fresh and fluffy, coffee was hot, milk was very cold. Plenty of napkins and condiments. Very clean establishment.

I hadn’t gotten donuts for about 20 years but had a hankering for some Boston Cremes but when I called to see when they closed i didn’t think to ask her if she had any Boston Cremes because it was close to closing time and there was a very slim selection available when I got there!!! But the little lady that was working there all by herself was so nice that it made up for the slim selection and I went ahead and purchased half a dozen donuts and they were just as good as Shipley’s Donuts I remember from 20 years ago AND I got my military discount!!! Keep doing what you’re doing Shipley’s!!!

Great atmosphere, service and convenience! Donut holes were a too chewy for me personally. The ham and cheese kolaches ham was really strong i was thinking it was old or something it didn’t smell bad but was a slightly too salty strong ham! Also got a cinnimon twist since they were out of cinnimon rolls at 7:20am. It was good. 3/5 stars for my first experience.

The best donuts and kolaches! Haven’t had them in about 3 years after moving out of Boerne, but I always reminisce on the tasty pastries and savory kolaches!! So yummy! Hope I can stop by next time in Boerne 🙂

Shipleys is my go to and I was so excited to see one in boerne. Purchased a dozen. I’m not sure how’s these donuts have Shipley’s name attached, but they are nothing like any Shipleys I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot. I ended up throwing them away. I wish this place would learn how to do donuts exactly like Shipleys so that I can visit again. The tast, texture and size are all off, not to mention, walking into a donut shop, your eyes are usually filled with a huge selection. This place looks like they don’t make hardly any.
