It’s been years since I ate at Maid-Rite. I forgot how plain it is. Basically, a Maid-Rite is ground beef that is lightly seasoned (barely), diced onions and dill pickles. The sandwich unfortunately tends to be on the dry side, but the fries were crispy and tasty, and the chocolate shake was smooth and rich. We had a great lunch meal.

A fast, fair priced good meal with a nice 50-60’s atmosphere. We went for breakfast and we and we’re pleased with the kind wait staff and quantity of food. I got the maid right skillet and my wife got the maid right breakfast burrito, and we shared the special stuffed apple crisp pancakes (our favorite). We’ll definitely go again.

I have gone here for years, but now the food is being served either barely warm or cold. I am not sure who is the problem, the cooks or owner. But something needs to be done. I hate to stop going to restaurants, but I will. The wait staff is excellent.

I previously posted an excellent review for the 53rd st store, I noticed I had the wrong store. I would like to tell you that it was meant for the division st location, it’s the only one we go to. What a fantastic crew they have! Thank you to all that work there! They have a newish cook, Sam. He does a fantastic job, management always seems to find the best people!
