Texas Roadhouse in Gilbert is always a solid choice when you’re craving a hearty meal. The steaks are consistently flavorful and cooked just right, and the rolls with cinnamon butter never miss easily one of the highlights. Portions are generous, and the menu has something for everyone.
The atmosphere is upbeat and fun, though it can get pretty loud during peak hours. Service is usually friendly and attentive, but wait times can run a bit long when it’s busy.
Overall, a dependable spot for a casual dinner with family or friends. Not perfect, but definitely worth coming back.

Had a great experience at Texas Roadhouse! The steak was absolutely delicious—cooked perfectly and so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Our waiter was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Great food, great service, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

I’ve had steaks cooked incorrectly at other place more than a few times, but here they almost always get it right. I say almost always because the last time, they totally undercooked it. I just took it home and it cooked more when I reheated it the next day.
But hey, every place has an off day, and deserves a pass.
I still highly recommend this place.

Had the best service tonight! We had a large party and little kids. Our servers were so amazing and patient. Had a big spill. They quickly replaced my meal and helped us. Steak was so good and so tender! I know we had some difficult people in our party… so hopefully the servers see this and know that they did amazing!!

Those rolls are to die for! Waited half an hour for food, but a little bit of waiting is nothing with good company. Our waitress was so kind and recommended a strawberry vanilla dirty sprite, which was absolutely delicious. I had some fried chicken, which was wonderfully crispy and served piping hot, but could have used a little more seasonings. The corn was a delicious, light side. My friend thought his steak was alright.
Solid food, great portions and great service, would absolutely go again.

I appreciate the wait staff for doing their best the issue is the kitchen staff. I understand how frustrating it is when a customer sends food back but when a steak is ordered medium rare and it comes out Medium Well it is not even close to being right. Now i sent that steak back the moment we received it as my wife cut into it had 1 bite and we as kindly as possible made the waitress known of the issue and she offered to get a new one made we really appreciated the understanding. It took 45 minutes to get the new steak which we asked to be placed into a to go container as we had been there at that point an hour and a half. When the steak came we didn’t check it as we figured well it took them 35 minutes I’m sure its got to be close to right….. I was sorely mistaken. The kitchen staff looked as if they grabbed the steak from the back of the fridge the steak dropped on the floor and flash seared to resemble what is a cooked steak. Attached are the photos of the steak that we cut into as soon as we came home. To say i am disappointed is an understatement i have been coming to this Texas Roadhouse for the better part of a Decade and its really gone down the drain in recent visits. If your food is done wrong or made incorrectly just ask for the refund because whoever they have working kitchen may just send you food that will cause you harm. Again the wait staff are amazing, the atmosphere is perfect i just wish they had the food quality they did before. The problem is no one else but the kitchens. Otherwise this Texas Roadhouse is a 5 Star easily.

What does this Texas Roadhouse consider a Medium steak? My wife, and I ordered Medium Dallas Fillet Steaks. Hers came out a 6oz Rare plump cut (cool red center.) Mine was an 8oz butterflied (I did NOT request this) filet MediumRare (warm red center). We both ordered the same temp. I eat my meat, because I care about where it came from. I shared my meal (because it was closer to what my wife wanted). By the time her steak came out it was suddenly butterfly cut, we’ll done, cold, and delivered by a blonde female Manager (at this point, I didn’t care to catch her name.) We thanked our server. She did nothing wrong. Management/cook staff are to blame for this 3 star review. I would give this establishment less; if it wasn’t for your server.

Ashlyn was hands down one of the best servers we’ve had! She was extremely friendly, super pleasant, and had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. The food was absolutely delicious, as always, and her service made the whole experience even better. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. Excellent service, great food—we’ll definitely be back!

I just have to leave a review to compliment the bar tender and how he responded to and treated my dad while we visited. My dad wanted to sit at the bar to eat, and we had wonderful service and food, as Texas Roadhouse always provides no matter the location. My dad recently had a stroke and life has been a bit of a challenge to him adjusting. As we stood to leave he called the bar tender over and apologized for something on the receipt. I am not sure exactly of the issue if it was his signature or adding the tip up, but the response of the bar tender was so genuine, kind and reassuring to my dad. I truly appreciated how he treated my dad and wanted to share our experience. The world can be a harsh place and this gentleman showed me we still have amazing people out there who treat others the way they would want someone to treat their ailing parent.
