We were so happy we found this spot. The service was outstanding from the entire staff, and the warm, intimate atmosphere made the experience even better. Our group included four adults, a toddler, and two infants, and they accommodated us with genuine enthusiasm.
I ordered the lasagna, and as someone who tries lasagna at Italian restaurants everywhere I travel, this was truly among the best I’ve ever had. We also tried the daily special chicken parm and the lobster ravioli, and everyone was thrilled with their meals.
Next time we’re in New Smyrna Beach, this will absolutely be a must‑visit restaurant for us.
Calamari was some frozen rubbery stuff. Not real calamari. We sent back twice.
My pollo Marsala was inedible the 2 times I sent it back. Pasta was under cooked both times.
Lamb chops were over done but seasoning was good.
Veal piccata was tough.
Overall only the drinks here are worth it. Better off cooking at home than coming to this location. It’s obvious management and wait staff is having trouble keeping up with the demand giving the lack of options in this area.
After our order was taken, our waitress disappeared. No follow-up, no check-in, no bread, and no Parmesan for pasta dishes — all basic expectations at an Italian restaurant.
After more than 20 minutes with an empty glass, my son had to go to the bar himself to get a Coke refill. Our waitress finally resurfaced only at the end of the meal to drop off the check.
That check also failed to include the clearly advertised 50% off Ladies Night discount, which we never bothered to point out because we were just done.
Equally concerning was a large man who appeared to be the owner or manager, standing idle while his staff struggled. He walked past my son multiple times while my son waited for a drink refill, yet never once stepped in to help. Watching management ignore obvious problems while guests fend for themselves says everything about how this place is run.
As locals, we won’t be back — and neither will the guests we host throughout the year.
