Rolled into town and, based on google reviews, decided on Miss Hattie’s. The building was in a cute little area and looked perfect. There were several rooms inside and we were seated in the lounge, perfect for us. The server, Juliana, stated she was new here but she was quite charming, very nice and very attentive. The drinks from the bar were good. The food however! The salad was just lettuce & store bought dressing. The steak was thin and stringy, the chicken was overcooked. The rice pilaf was just white rice. The sautéed vegetables were good but without seasoning. The fries were hot and crispy though. Disappointing and not what I expected.

I recommend having a drink at the bar, chatting with Juliana but eating elsewhere.

Got in at around 4pm. Our server was great and the food came out quick and hot. Our food was absolutely delicious and I will say def in the top 3 for a good burger in town. A bill for three entrees and an appetizer was not expensive at all!

Food, service, atmosphere all of it was fantastic! I had the fried shrimp and salad with raspberry vinaigrette! They use canola oil here. My husband had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. He thought it was as good as grandma’s!

It’s an older historic bldg that has a slight moldy dusty smell to it. It’s an older place so the shops next to it have the same smells. It is a very niche place. Food was okay. Prices were very reasonable. It’s a good area for dining and shopping. It would be a good place to stop and have a drink. Staff was very friendly and service was fast.

Miss Hattie’s restaurant was so cool. The food was delicious. I had the meatloaf, corn and mashed potatoes. It was all so good. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger of course. He loved it. The tomato basil soup was so good I forgot to take a picture of it before I slurped it all down. . It is such a cute place and I love the decorations. There was one other couple in there so it was quaint. The staff were all very nice a attentive. We will be back because there are lots of things on the menu we want to try. After we ate we took pictures of the sheep art outside and the murals on several walls.

Fun funky place, Victorian decor. Had the chicken salad salad- a goid sized scoop of chicken salad with salad greens on the side. The roasted garlic vingarette was house-made and delicious. Unsweet peach tea was great too. Fanastic value for $8.50. Orher selections on the menu were reasonably priced as well. Lots of locals dining there
