Ate at the new Omurice Ramen in Battle Creek for an early dinner. Next door to Kume Hibachi and operated by the same proprietors, they just opened January 7th. Anything that makes me feel like I’m not in my same ole same ole hometown is a winner in my book, and this place is something special. Upon entering you are whisked away to another place, under the ethereal spell of an exotically enchanting culture. JPop songs play on the speakers and the elevated honeycomb sitting booths dominate the unique space. The menu offers many ramen favorites but I decided on the black garlic tonkotsu. I also indulged in a brown sugar and taro Boba tea. What a fun experience ! I will definitely return and I highly recommend checking this spot out if you are an anime or Asian food fan. A little strange that the music was on repeat and it only lasted about maybe thirty seconds. That was a little bit strange that our cook walked back very uninthesiastic. And he really thought he was just going through the motions when he was cooking the meal. The taste, however, was absolutely amazing. The price was mind-blowing and the food is just out of this world. I do recommend this place to anyone And everyone.

We have been coming to this restaurant for about 6 years to get our sushi fix. We drive an hour to get there and it’s always worth it! However we went there for my birthday on July 11th 2025 and the sushi was exceptionally amazing! We have never had a bad experience here. The service is always great. 10/10 recommend.

I have a Mushroom allergy, I called we tell them about it, they even write it on the ticket. They repeat it back to me when I get there, so I assume I am good. Drive home and there is mushrooms in our food.
I called and they said bring it back so they can verify. So my wife has to drive back across town and show them.
Manager gets an attitude, doesn’t accept responsibility for the mess up, and is rude to my wife the entire time. Same lady who the first time accused me of lying about my allergy.
10% of the meal with the mushrooms.
Guess in her world $3 makes up for the fact I
Could have ended up in the hospital cause they don’t quality check thier food.
Will NEVER be going back, Sakura is better anyway.

For service, came at 2 on a Monday, so there weren’t many people. Service was very good, and they had a hibachi chef come out for just two people, so I’m gonna assume good service.
Ambience is great. Typical hibachi/sushi place but really nice lighting and decorations PLUS they had really nice Christmas decorations up that really made a peaceful mood.
The big stand out is the food. Had the sushi and sashimi combo with soup and salad. Think it was like 16.99 and everything was exceptional. Sashimi was very tender and thick cut with vibrant color and great flavor. Melted in your mouth. Will def come back

I absolutely love going to a Hibachi Grill, 2nd time here and both times we had wonderful prompt service and fresh food. Our cook. Served sake and tossed a little food for fun. My zucchini happened to hit me in the nose which made everyone laugh so that made it fun. Sorry no pics this time as it was a Christmas Dinner Party and I didn’t wanna be rude to the other guests.

Great food and entertainment. Our first time eating here. Thought my piece of salmon was a little small (probably under 3oz) but is was very tasty. Shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly.

Fire, Food, and Fun!!! Very cool decor inside, hibachi show was excellent. Ordered everything from Lobster to Sushi Roll. It was my mommy’s bday and her first time here. We laughed, ate, and enjoyed the show. Taste of food was excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. If you like hibachi I would highly suggest.
