Nacho Review: Buffalo Wild Wings (North Bismarck).
It was a “two-fer” review day since I was at BWW to watch some Vikings football. What goes good with football and beer? Nachos of course!!! So here we go.
Appearance: The appearance was what was expected. Not only did the ingredients look good, but they were stylish with the sour cream. Everything laid out on a flat tray. 5 Stars
Layering: Nachos that are built and served in a wide fashion will always get better ratings with layering as the layering is limited to one layer, maybe two. In this case, there was some overlapping, but every chip had something on it. The reason why it is not a 5 star is that with the ease of building the plate, there seemed to be more of an emphasis of toppings in the center of the nacho plate. 4.25 stars
Ratio of Cheese to Chips: Of course I am a big cheese nut and always want every chip to have cheese. There were several chips that did not have cheese, but they may have had something else on it. Overall, not bad and I give it 4 Stars
Ingredients: It was nice to see cilantro on these Nachos. We went with a chicken, as we were at BWW, and it was good, but the chicken seemed so thin. If there were Jalapenos, they were tiny. Basically, this was just average. 3 Stars
Taste: This was actually a good flavorful nacho, even with boring chicken. The chips had a nice crunch to them, the queso was tasty but I am knocking off 1/2 a star as it must have been sitting for awhile as the cheese and chicken were kind’ve chilled. 4.5 Stars
Overall: a solid 4 stars. I would recommend folks to try them, they are pretty good.

Got 10 boneless wings (breast meat) for lunch menu, $12. Includes fries and a pop. Came fast 20 mins or so. Great. Haven’t been here forever.

Food was decent but we have been sitting for 20+ minutes waiting for check. They brought by multiple items that we did not order and were convinced that we had, going around to each person to check. Ridiculous service for an established location such as this.

Turned away from service at 12:10am on a Saturday night when their restaurant closes at 1am. Met at the door with eyes rolling from Casey the bartender. Found a table in the bar. Our server walked up, sat coasters down and then walked away. Casey came up and had attitude the second she came to the table. Didn’t feel welcome even though we came in 50 min to close. Members of our party even called in ahead to order food so kitchen wouldn’t be bothered with a late order. The blatant disrespect is uncalled for. Will never give this business a dollar or our money.

You guys need to ditch the food locker. If it works great, but seems to always have issues. Also, it doesn’t matter if I pick up food for myself or door dash their seems to be 2 things that are gonna happen. Either the food is in the locker (hopefully the correct order) and old or its gonna take forever with the system throwing error codes. The girls upfront are always nice, but have an issue when it comes to giving out food and what I mean by that is, if I tell you im waiting for a specific order and you go to the back to grab it, dont walk past me, put it in the lockers and then not tell me its in the lockers. Think anybody wants to type their name in everytime you put a bag in just for it to not be in there or give an error sending you to the back jusy to pull it out and hand it to me anyway. Works well for the south store cause of the placement, but this north store not so much. Would it kill you to keep track of the orders that are in there? Idk, its a good idea in theory, but this store could do alot better with it. Walking past me with the exact order I just asked about and putting it in the locker and not saying anything is wild and it happens everytime

Tried this place 2 times in the last six months!! The first time, I was with a coworker and we tried sitting in the dining area. We were seated but no one ever came around to take our order. Got up and walked out. Today, I ordered beer, honey bbq naked tenders w/ fries and ranch at the bar. When food came out, no honey bbq. After about 5 minutes was finally able to get attention of the bartender. Asked for honey bbq again. Was acknowledged but the bartender left for about 10 minutes. When she came back out still no honey bbq sauce. Asked another bartender and it was finally delivered. Tenders were ice cold and unable to eat.

I’m only writing a review because I haven’t been this disappointed in years. Sat at the bar. We asked for a two ingredient drink and a beer, watched the bartender free pour only half a shot. Did not ask if the beer we ordered was bottle or draft, or the size of the surprise draft that arrived. She never asked for clarification on any part of the order, or if we wanted ranch or blue cheese. Ended up taking our food to go. She didn’t give us any sauces anyway so I guess that’s my bad. Got home only to realize that we got the wrong persons food order as well. Our bartender was even the person to deliver our food, kinda surprised she didnt double check it. The only highlight was the football commentary of the stranger next to us.

Casey constantly has an attitude every single time we are there. Summer greeted us with no words except throwing the coasters down on the table and walking away. Then Casey approached us. When we asked for a manager we were told by Casey “I am the manager” and she then proceeded to turn her back on us and walk away.

The best BWW I have ever been to. I will continue to make it my “go to” Amber, Alicia and Summer are all about customer service. The wings are always great. I was recently back in town after my move and of course had to have lunch here. Some of the personnel have changed but nothing has changed. Its still a great place to be.
