Like to go to a local shop when traveling. This was right off the town Square and tucked in a row of shops that had some heavy duty street work going on. (Oct 23rd, 2025) But, glad I found them. Ordered 4 as they are quite large. Fed our group of 4 just fine. The pumpkin cream cheese icing was outstanding. Worth the effort to find if you like a great donut. Service was excellent and staff were very welcoming.

If you want one of the best donuts of your life…. Come here! Home made! The staff are so sweet to recommend ones that they love. They have gluten free and regular donuts. All donuts are vegan. I salivated over a gluten free crème bruleè and let me tell you. I could have cried with joy. It was wonderful. The the fried doe donut was exceptional. Please stop here!

I’ve been vegan for a long time and I’ve tried a number of vegan donuts, but this by far was the best experience I’ve ever had. We tried two: the cider donut (very delicious, cake-y) and the jam-filled donut which was absolutely the most delicious donut I’ve ever had and you would truly never know it was vegan. Soft, flakey, not at all crispy or overly fried like I’ve had at some other establishments. Very impressed, looking forward to my next visit to Portsmouth so we can try another flavor!

I can’t leave less than 4 stars because I’m a Lovebirds donut stan forever BUT the miserable staff at the Portsmouth location are a real drag. I usually go to Kittery but wanted to bring some friends to the Portsmouth location since we were there. Won’t be doing that again! The donuts are always awesome and the Kittery location is 10/10 consistently. I don’t expect anyone to fall over themselves smiling and doing the chipper thing – we are all human – but the Portsmouth location grumps take it to another level of awkward.

Just popped in here while my kids were shopping next-door. The donuts were outstanding. The elasticity of the crumb was fantastic, and sweetness was just about right. I got the glazed and the chocolate frosted, both were fantastic and my kids loved them. It’s not easy to do donuts well, most come out to dry or the oil used is unpleasantly obvious or they are way too sweet… The list goes on. So, excellent donuts, thank you!

The donuts are amazing! I love going here. The only thing is it’s wicked expensive. We got 12 donuts and it cost us like $70. The place is a little small too, which is okay but if you’re claustrophobic, then you might be a little overwhelmed.

Unfortunately this was a disappointment compared to other donut shops we have visited. The glazed brioche donut was extremely tough and hard to pull apart and chew. Not a melt in your mouth donut shop. The cake donuts were better. We visited early on a Saturday morning when they should be fresh, so I’m not sure what the issue was.

Probably the best tried by me donuts in USA up until this moment. The dough its soooooo tasty and unusual. They dont have so much sugar like other donuts producers. And they are just sweet enough to be awesome. They arranged them so well and I when was choosing which donut to take I did actually spend 15 min looking at them. They all looks fantastic!!! I really wanna come back to them and try other donuts.
