I went specifically to Tasco for the Jumiles Season. These Little bugs special for This Region. I went to this restaurant because ChatGPT told me they have Jumiles. I asked and they especially made for me at the table a salsa de Jumiles that was delicious! They freeze these little bugs so they should have it all year around. And then I had the Mole with the 26 ingredients that was so rich and tasty. Really nice.

Breakfast:
Fast menu with and endless variety of items, ranging from Mexican breakfast over to delicious pastries, fresh juices and so much more. Tried the ‘El Campo’ beans, scrambled eggs, avocado, chorizo & pork rind and it was really good. Lovely presentations for all of their dishes.
Lunch & Dinner:
Extensive menu with wonderful food, only had some soups for lunch but they were outstanding in terms of flavour and presentation.
I think if we were to stay any longer in Taxco La Hacienda would be the only place we would eat – that’s how good it is!

Christobal and Jose made our dining experience so special. The table side salsa made by Christobal with the crushed beetle was our first experience of its kind and super tasty and fun. Jose’s creation of my drink was also delicious. The two of them (along with the chef of course) with their broad smiles and warm service made dinner with my mom a very special memory for us. Thank you guys and La Hacienda!!

Wonderful meal and drinks at La Hacienda in Taxco. We loved our meals and the guacamole appetizer. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and the atmosphere was lovely. We were able to hear music from the square on a Sunday evening as we dined. It was a great experience.

A delicious place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! We came here three times because the food was so delicious, and we loved everything (sopa de fideo seca, huarache a la mexicana, chilaquiles…). Highly recommend this restaurant — similar price to other places on the zócalo but better quality than the first place we went.

The best you will find in Taxco. Flavors are well developed and complex and presentation is five star. Ate here 3x during my visit. Squash blossom soup and salmon were excellent. Do not miss!

This place is si good! You can tell everything is made with great attention. I went for breakfast and everything from the juice: guava, orange, and wheatgrass. The concha I got was straight out of the oven and saying that it was the best concha I have ever had in my life is not an overstay me the. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I went back for lunch and this place did not disappoint. I had what at any other restaurant would have been called enchiladas suizas, but here they added rajas poblanas and it was just the touch needed to make it special. Unfortunately I was too full for dessert, but I am already dying to go back.
