Food is amazing here. It’s way better than Olive Garden I’ll tell you that. I will recommend to anyone looking for a nice Italian spot. I had the Cajun fettuccine alfresco pasta so good! I Understand this place is like a little hole in the wall, but it’s cute and the service is good and the food is great.
The people who are leaving negative reviews are probably expecting a 5 star restaurant experience. Please don’t. This place is good if you aren’t expecting that VIP service. It’s decent and I really don’t have anything negative to say. Please give them a chance.

Our server was nice but did not do a good job. Once we got our food, she never checked back to see how our food was. When we were done, Shaw picked up our plate and again never asked how our food was. It was bad. I had the chicken parmigiana and it had no flavor, it was tough and chewy, and super thin. There was excessive water under the spaghetti which also had no flavor.

first time here and will be the last and only time.
long wait for food and no refills, not only that wrong dishes brought out
and long time to get check and boxes to go which I don’t why I bother tu bring it home since it wasn’t good but I spent a decent penny on my dinner and it sure is a waste. expensive prices for not good food and not good size portion either, not tu mention lack of customer service and attention

Out trying new places in the neighborhood and this is a MUST for Italian food! The place is very clean and well kept, the people were very friendly, waitress was super attentive, and everyone had smiles the whole time. Our food came out hot and fresh with sooooo much flavor! We will be back to try more from the menu! Today I got the Cajun Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, my son got the Kid’s Spaghetti with Meatball, and my mom got the Classic Lasagna. All of it was very delicious and the portions were pretty big! Highly recommend and my mom wanted to add that it would be a great place for a date!

The food is DELICIOUS! Everything we ordered was great from the appetizer, to salad, to soup, to main course, and finally desserts. Service was great, and atmosphere is filled with Italian love songs. It is just what you would want from an Italian restaurant. It is friendly, not over crowded, or noisy. It is a small restaurant that out shines the larger chain restaurants. Go there!

Miguel the manager always remembers us.
The food is impeccable. We have tried a variety of dishes; never disappointed.
Atmosphere is relaxing and quiet.
Service is always subtle and efficient.
Great red and white wine list to pair with your meal choice.
The music is exactly what you want too.
And finally there is “Godfather” poster on the back wall

UPDATE
Our friends wanted a great place to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary; best time you could ask for. Miguel and his staff pulled out all the stops to create a 100% personalized evening and meal.

Was pleasantly surprised. I read the reviews. The place has been there awhile. They were not busy at all when we went on a Saturday at lunch time. Almost did not go in. The wife and I had the escargot to start, she had the chicken picata , I had the chicken carbonarra both were very good. Other than being the only ones there, one person came thru and got some pre ordered pizzas.. will come back again sometime

Luigi’s – Jones Road, Houston

Very disappointing experience, especially since this was meant to be a birthday celebration.

The service was slow and poorly managed, despite the restaurant being far from busy, which makes the situation even more unacceptable. Appetizers were served before the guest of honor arrived, ruining the moment and showing a lack of attention to the occasion.

I had asked in advance whether proper Italian espresso was available and was told yes. Once at the table, we were told they could not serve espresso due to a “lack of water.” Even more surprising, they did not have bottled still water available. These are basic expectations for a restaurant presenting itself as Italian.

On top of that, when the bill arrived, we were charged a per-person “celebration table” fee in addition to the standard tip, without this being clearly disclosed in advance. This felt unfair and not transparent.

I would not recommend this restaurant for celebrations or special occasions.

Our first visit and no regrets. Waiter was attentive and friendly. Bread has to be fresh out the oven, so good. Ceasar salad tasted like the dressing was fresh made. Loved the chicken marsala, such a rich flavor. She had the spaghetti with meatballs and the red sauce was thick and a nice amount of garlic. Looking forward to our next visit.

A few days ago, I went to go get dinner with my daughter. We asked what were the best wines, and it turns out the waitress, Cecilia, DOESNT SPEAK A WORD IN ENGLISH! And we already know one can read the menu and how a dish comes, but one always needs help from their waitress, and this lady couldn’t help us one bit. The food was delicious, but she didn’t even think about refilling our drinks, we had to keep getting up or asking her to fill our drinks. Even thought its a restaurant with very little customers, she isn’t even able to stay dependent on her tables. I know the old owner, Miguel, and ever since he sold the place, everything went down since the waitresses don’t know English and they don’t even have a manager to say anything to them. I’ll never return to this place again!
