After exploring the fascinating museum and picking up a few keepsakes, we made our way to the attached café—and we’re so glad we did. The space is cozy yet spacious, filled with Bonnie and Clyde memorabilia that adds a unique, nostalgic vibe. They even play classic Bonnie and Clyde films, which makes the atmosphere feel like a step back in time.
Despite being a one-person operation, the service was friendly and efficient. The food? Absolutely delicious. We tried the cheeseburger and The Ambush Special—a fried bologna and bacon sandwich loaded with fresh veggies—and both were outstanding. While we didn’t get around to dessert this time, we’re already planning a return visit just for that.
If you’re in the area, this spot is a must. Great food, unbeatable prices, and an atmosphere that’s both fun and full of character. Highly recommend!

We stopped at the museum and it was really good the man running has alot of history to Bonnie and clyde the movie The Highwaymen was partly filmed in this area and the café attached to the museum is good food good service and all around wonderful atmosphere if your in this area stop in you will enjoy the history and the food and the people …. I posted pictures of some of the stuff in the museum but I didn’t get any of the Cafe
