You can place your order ahead of time, they get very busy on the weekends.
I always recommend this place to all my friends & family who are visiting the area.

Manoushe in Southern California can never get better than at Al-Amir Bakery. Locally owned, the service is welcoming and friendly. What really distincts Al-Amir, however, is their soft and yummy dough. No matter what kind of manoushe you get, if the bread is bad, it’s not real manoushe. Can’t say the same for Al-Amir, whose bread is delicate yet punches you with flavor. Don’t miss out when stopping in Little Arabia.

Great food! We had the fouhl plate and the Veggie plate to share between three people and it came with two large pita breads. We also ordered 4 cheese pizzas, one of the the Zattar and cheese pizza and one of the Lahm-Bajeen( ground beef, diced tomatoes and diced onions) pizza. Seating inside and outside as well, which we like since we take our puppy with us.

I recently visited Amir Bakery on Brookhurst and had a disappointing experience. We ordered cheese with zatar and mhmrah, and unfortunately, the quality of the food was lacking. To make matters worse, the customer service was quite poor.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. They really need to improve both their food quality and customer service. They deserve only one star or two maximum.

I have a very good experience in this business. I placed an order on line but the order went to the restaurant in Anaheim instead of going to the Claremont restaurant. I called them and they refunded My money right away. They have excellent customer service. It was My first time ordering but now i had become a fan, the food is so yummi, the calzone and pizza are really delicious, thank You!!! Also the Dubai chocolate is so good!

I visited Al Amir Bakery on Brookehurst and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their baked goods. The atmosphere inside the bakery was warm and welcoming, with a lovely aroma of freshly baked bread and pizzas filling the air. The owner and staff are very friendly. They are open late to accommodate the late eating hours of Ramadan which is great. We got a veggie pizza and it was enough for two people and very good! The interior isn’t the best looking but the food is totally worth it!

Al Amir Bakery is a true haven for lovers of authentic Middle Eastern baked goods! Every item is freshly made with care and high-quality ingredients — from warm, fluffy pita bread to perfectly flaky pastries like baklava and ma’amoul. The savory options, including spinach pies, meat-filled pastries, and za’atar breads, are bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. Sweet treats are rich but balanced, with just the right touch of honey and nuts. The bakery is always clean, inviting, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Al Amir Bakery consistently delivers freshness, authenticity, and irresistible flavor that keeps customers coming back for more.

This place has huge potential to quadruple their business.
I am sure they’re doing well.
However, $1500 investment in painting, cleaning and repairs to the floor board and possibly installing crown molding would give the business a better image that matches the amazing food they serve.
A broken window has been broken for 3 years?!!!
How about painting the Lebanese flag on the outside of it and installing simple shelves on the inside if financesdoesn’tallowwindowreplacement, looking at 3 years old, plywood is not inviting
I will continue to do business with al amir…they need to step up their game to keep up.

I look forward to the days I am in Garden Grove so I can come to Al-amir and get myself a delicious manakeesh, this time I got Zataar and cheese to-go. Every time I come I buy in bulk and keep them in my freezer. They reheat really well and the toaster oven! This is a must try!
