We celebrated my 50th birthday here. Our servers were excellent, very attentive and friendly. The food was exceptional, so good! And the room was very nicely put together. The prices for the meal were very reasonable much better than some other places we called. There was a bit of a communication problem between the server and the manager on a few things we requested. But other than that everything was great! I’d recommend this place and use the catering service again!

Our church gets food catered from Grand Valley for most our occasions. We continue to use them for good reason. They are easy to work with, always get it right, timely, fair pricing, and the food is always good!! Makes feeding large amounts of people easier and pleasurable. Attended a small gathering in one of the private dining rooms. Kelly, our server, was awesome! She was very patient, helpful, and attentive. Everyone’s food was also very good. A few had steak salads and said their steak was cooked perfectly. Prices were comparable to other restaurants with the same food items. You definitely get a lot of food for the price. I would definitely recommend!

Food was excellent! I got the sirloin and shrimp with a salad and onion rings. I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was… which is probably why I enjoyed it so much. The location and appearance of this restaurant will fool you if you let it…but if you can get past that and be seated, you will enjoy yourself.

My husband and I were there Friday night for dinner. We were there around 3:00. We go at this time most of the time we got a fish dinner rice pilaf and a salad. My husband said his dressing tasted funny. But we still ate. Everything else was good. But soon after we got home we both felt sick. Not sure what it was made us feel this way but when it affected both of us we figured it had probably been the food. we’ve never had this problem before we eat there often.

After many years,, we still come here because the food is outstanding. Some of the food we’ve had there are seafood flatbread and tomato Flatbread, both great. The potato cheddar soup was wonderfully creamed and had the right amount of cheddar cheese. Their wedding soup is phenomenal. I’ve had the filet burgundy which was so tender I didn’t even need a knife. The sirloin steak was very tasty, not just plain steak. The shrimp scampi was wonderful. We love their holiday specials and they offer a wide selection. We’re going back soon.

This is a cozy, homey-feeling, out-of-the-way restaurant and inn. I found it when I was looking for a place to meet a friend for lunch who lives an hour away, and Grand Valley Inn is about halfway! This might just become our new regular meeting spot. The server was polite, attentive, and prompt. The food was served in a timely manner and was delicious! The atmosphere feels like a diner/restaurant that my grandparents would have taken me to 35 years ago… in the BEST possible way! Nostalgic and warm and friendly! I love knowing places like this still exist!

No fries for the salad like there were supposed to be. Was charged gratuity for 3 people on a carry out order because the total was more than $75. Gratuity for bagging up the to go boxes? I’m not quite sure what service we were paying gratuity for. The meals are expensive so of course 3 people’s total were over $75. Make sure you check your bill for added gratuity on carry out orders.

Was here this evening for the Banquet of New Officers from Darlington Volunteer Fire Department and was the guest speaker. The food alone was amazing but the atmosphere was amazing as I heard both sides to my story from my accident on May 2nd, 2024 that brought me to tears.
