The burger came out raw (ordered medium), we told the staff, but they did not remove the burger from the bill. The bologna sandwich is tasteless and salty. Staff not very attentive, but friendly! Shoestring fries were the best part of the meal. Too spendy to go back for subpar food – especially when there are so many delicious restaurants in the Twin Cities.

Beef carpaccio was so delicious, burger was really good (though my medium rare was a little closer to rare than medium). The vibes are super cool, I love the metal ceiling, and my server was super nice. It was a bit loud w people talking and the music but not that bad. Went by myself this time but I will definitely be returning with my family to try the beef carpaccio.

Living nearby, I know they’re a busy place, so a cold, snowy Sunday was the perfect day to try their brunch. The food, and the minimal crowd, were delightful! I had the classic breakfast, and the sausages were the clear standout, absolutely delicious. And I can’t forget the coffee! I’ll definitely be back.

We had 8pm reservations on a Wednesday before a show at 331 and we walked in around 730 expecting a wait but there were maybe a couple tables full. They sat us right next to the open window and it was a perfect summer night! We ordered the Pork Belly & Scallops, Cesar Salad, Duck Breast and Gnocchi. Everything was delicious and the amount was perfect for two people. We also enjoyed two cocktails each and dessert: the panna cotta.

The service was great and the ambiance was cozy with fun artwork on the walls. The menu was simple yet there were quite a few items I’d love to go back and try. They said the menu changes with the seasons and I’m already looking forward to the fall!

I really enjoyed the brunch! I am super picky eater and the brunch burger will have me coming back for dinner. Service was great and never had to ask for something. Definitely recommend

came for a date night – our online reservation didn’t go through so we sat at the bar
we got the bologna sandwich and a lasagna type pasta dish and ended the night with the special cheesecake (turtle)
glad we went but probably won’t be back. The food was fine but a little spendy.

Came in on a Thursday night. Drinks were fine, but the food was pretty bad. We ordered manicotti and cacio e pepe. We would have been disappointed at any price, but the fact that they’re charging nearly $30 for what we received was really insulting. The cacio e pepe was clumpy, maybe recently microwaved. It was greasy, oil collected in the bottom of the plate. And while I think the menu advertised grilled or smoky artichokes, they had just plopped canned artichokes into the pasta. I could taste the light pickling on the artichokes, which made the dish even more disconcerting. My husband had manicotti which was essentially spinach and artichoke dip over overcooked pasta. Neither of us could finish our dishes, and we are not picky eaters. Also, there was hardly anyone in there but the service was shockingly slow. Server forgot a glass of wine I ordered for so long I almost had to cancel it because we were out of time. Meanwhile I watched her scrolling on her phone behind the bar.

Edited to say that the beef carpaccio was actually really good, even though everything else was disappointing.

Perhaps I did not order the right type of food here but my first experience is merely okay in terms of food. The service is great and I had a very attentive and patient server. The location and space are also suitable for friendly conversations. Pretty much everything about the place is great. Just the food taste doesn’t do it for me. This rating is in fact a 3.5 but I have chosen 3 because I do not think I can bring it up to a 4, unfortunately.

The French baguette was good with butter but the bread itself was old and hard. I had an Ivorian friend with me who was a French cuisine connoisseur and she recognized the same issue. Then the gnocchi, which had flavor that I did not expect. It wasn’t too creamy or rich, which was great. I think there might have been too much of the sun-dried tomatoes flavor but the sour taste from it was pretty strong. Maybe it is because sun-dried tomatoes are concentrated in terms of that flavor. The manicotti felt like it could be made in other more casual settings. The spinach basil cream felt a bit like artichoke dip, and the ricotta felt like it was not really prepared prior to putting them into the pasta. The bread was good despite not tasting fresh (kind of soggy). The rosemary honey panna cotta was amazing! Have a spoon of a bit of the panna cotta with the honey was truly a great experience. The flourless chocolate torte was great as well, especially since it was flourless it would tasted like it was missing something. But that was okay because the expectation was already there.

I saw that some of their meat dishes are more popular, so if I decide to visit again, then I may give those a shot instead! But overall if people happen to be around the area, then I will still recommend them.

Great drinks, cozy vibes, friendly service, terrible food – at least the dishes we tried. Cacio e pepe had canned artichokes, a poached egg, and clumpy, thin egg noodles almost reminiscent of ramen. The flavors didn’t go together, the noodles were stuck together in clumps, and the oil, watery artichokes, and runny egg yolk all pooled together in an unappetizing liquid in the bowl. The mortadella sandwich was a rubbery, greasy mess, something I’d expect at a dive bar where food is an afterthought. Recommend the spot for a drink and a snack, but I would tread carefully if going for a meal, they seem to be hit and miss.
