I ordered food there in a specifically asked for my food to be extra crispy because it was my son‘s birthday and that’s what he liked. I ordered the pizza around 7:30 and they told me the pizza would be there in 30 minutes or less because I live two minutes away from the restaurant. It instead took them an hour and change to get to me, because their delivery drivers got lost. So when I got my food, it was not hot instead it was only semi warmish and the dough was partially undercooked. My fiancé and I, hadn’t eaten or pizza yet. My two sons bless their heart didn’t immediately realize; our daughter discovered the pizza dough was a bit floppy and chewy instead cooked thoroughly and crispy.
I called that evening about 30 minutes after we received our food to make the complaint that our food was undercooked. That night they told me to come in the next day and the manager would be able to remake my order for me since unfortunately, my kids had bitten into all of the pizza before they realize that it was partially undercooked. I didn’t even want them to remake the food, they offered.
The younger female employees were nice, but the eldest female worker, the manager, had a horrible attitude. If you’re any respectable restaurant, your staff and your managers should know how to speak properly to their customers, and not treat them badly for speaking English.
Both the supervisor and the manager talked down to me, simply for my complaint. I would’ve even taken an apology, “sorry our pizza was undercooked. It’ll never happen again.“
I would’ve been happy simply with the acknowledgment that they made a mistake. Instead, I was met with an ill tempered supervisor, and a very, very angry manager, who both seemed hell-bent on making this my fault because they messed up and couldn’t understand me speaking English.
I will give them credit; they remade my order, but when the manager slammed both pizzas on the counter and said in broken English “service for you, no more“.
I recommend not going to this establishment to order any type of food on the off chance that they’ll mess up and you go and try and get your order redone or simply acknowledgment that they messed up. Go to Domino’s, Papa John’s, or Pizza Hut, they have staff that will not treat you like crap.
On Tuesday, December 10, I placed an online order for a thirty-two-slice pizza. However, when I arrived to pick up my order, the store was closed. The following day, I called to explain the situation to Manager Guadalupe, but the call ended abruptly when she hung up on me after treating me rudely. I called again, but Guadalupe insisted that I come to the store to resolve the issue, despite my request for a refund.
My frustration continued as I encountered further unprofessional behavior. Guadalupe was dismissive and disrespectful, even making a comment in Spanish that translated to, “I don’t have time to waste with you.” She then began filming me without my consent, which I believe could be a serious violation of privacy. I felt this behavior was completely unacceptable, especially from a person in a managerial position.
When I arrived at the store to pick up my refund, Guadalupe continued to act inappropriately. She not only tossed the refund money at me but also made obscene gestures. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, the Store Manager, whom I repeatedly asked for assistance, was unhelpful and refused to intervene. Additionally, he did not provide his name when requested, nor did he offer any solution to address the situation.
As a regular customer, I am appalled by the level of service I received and am deeply disappointed by the actions of both Guadalupe and the Store Manager. I believe their behavior reflects poorly on your company and highlights a significant lack of professionalism.
I request that you investigate this matter and hold both Guadalupe and the Store Manager accountable for their actions. I am also open to providing further details, including phone recordings and store camera footage, which I believe will support my claims.
I look forward to your response.
