I flew in from Vancouver to visit my wife who goes to GSU and I HAD to try the famous Hattie B’s!
Outstanding and friendly customer service, amazing vibes, and THE FOOD! SO SO SO GOOD
We got the Dirty Bird fries, 3 pc wings, coleslaw, Pimento Mac n cheese and the banana bread. Safe to say the mrs. And I were licking the bones clean at the end the chicken was juicy, flavorful and just the right heat!
Fantastic experience, will definitely be coming back next time I come to Atl!!

Hattie B’s in Atlanta is always a must stop for me in Atlanta. Always consistently a great chicken sandwich with great choices for sauce and amount of heat. Had the Mac and cheese side and it was good. Wings are pretty good to. If you like spicy chicken sandwiches make this stop for sure.

I must admit that we have experienced one of the best services across many restaurants around this country.
The food has always been great from our experience and if are game for super hot chicken, you would love this place.

I’ve tried multiple hot chickens, but this was one of the best that I’ve done in the recent past. I’m traveling to Atlanta and have to find this place. Their burgers are amazing and their chicken is fried to perfection. The Chris the spice quality of meat was outstanding the temperature of the meat was cooked so scientifically perfect back you can’t go wrong with it. You have to try their hot chicken sandwich. It has the perfect level of sweetness spicy, tender, juicy meat.
Their staff is very knowledgeable and super helpful. Kept checking on us. There is a lot of parking available and there’s an outside seating as well and they will bring the food out for you and they will come check on you multiple times to make sure you’re doing good. what can you ask in a busy Neighbourhood a good place to eat with a great service these guys have a marvelous job in customer service inside it’s pretty decent but I would prefer outside. Ambience is pretty neat. They made this place look pretty neat about how a chicken burger or chicken sandwich shop should be.

Exceptionally friendly employees, stellar food that doesn’t believe that heat = flavor. Spicy here means you get both. Sides are all pretty great, but the grits are my favorite. We’re addicted to this place. And to top it off, it’s one of the more affordable places you can go in the area.

I’ve been to Hattie B.’s before, specifically this location when it first opened. I haven’t gone in a while, but I noticed a few changes to the menu. However. I was pretty excited about this visit. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. When I arrived, it wasn’t too busy but there was a steady crowd. Melo and Shemika greeted me when I walked in. Melo was super helpful and patient, highlighting some of his favorites and explaining my options. I chose the chicken sandwich with a medium spicy flavor and baked beans, plus a peach cobbler on the side. My meal also came with a drink cup too. Shemika ensured I had everything I needed. While I waited for my food, I found an open table and sat down. My order was ready pretty quick and everything was fresh. I decided to take my food to go and had it at home. The chicken sandwich was definitely my favorite–the medium spice gave it a little kick, so if you don’t like spicy stuff, this might be a bit much. The baked beans weren’t my favorite–they could’ve been a little sweeter. But the peach cobbler was a standout. Overall, my experience was five stars thanks to the great customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back.

12/30/25-went again today after Fernbank and it was delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I ordered mild this time and it was great! My daughter got the waffles with honey butter and she said it was really good. My husband got the half chicken in medium with Mac and cheese and he also loved it. We will be back. It’s so good!
7/12/25-The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. They don’t play with the heat. If it’s your first time go a size down on the heat. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and the flavor was in a rub which was so delicious. My kids also loved it. The fries are great! The comeback sauce is really good.

Ordered Hattie Bs for delivery. I was missing my extra Cole slaw. I also signed up for their email program and was excited about the free dessert item. It also wasn’t in the bag. Instead of immediately eating, I had to call the 800 number. Also the Mac and cheese looked like creamed corn. I was excited to order here but will not be visiting again.

Just landed at the airport and decided to try this. It was one of the best hot chicken I’ve had in a while. It was crunchy, delicious, spicy but not numbing. The sweet tea and the lemonade also tasted different, but good! Not overly sweet or sour. Parking is in the back side and outdoor seating was nice. Overall, great experience!
