Love the simplicity of the ordering and pickup system, and our food from Arepa Fusion is always great! Having a no-contact locker pickup for food is something I never knew I needed, but it really takes the stress out of the entire process.

I never went in here, thinking it’d be a huge building with a lot of counters. Then we learned of Arepa Fusion and decided to brave uncharted territory to try them.
Now we love U-District Eats (and Arepa Fusion!)
Inside consists of a very small room with 2 kiosks (1 to order, 1 to check your order), a wall of lockers, a single counter, and the door to the bathroom (which is available to the public, thankfully).
There are, I believe, at least 6 different restaurants in there right now. I love this. Let’s do a breakdown:
Pros:
-Easy ordering, whether online for pickup, or at the kiosk.
-Contactless! Hooray!
-Fantastic food
-Lots of options
-Decently affordable
-Open later
-Customer bathroom
Cons:
-Inside is very small and can get crowded when people stand there waiting instead of waiting outside. This room is smaller than a prison cell. It’s okay when nobody is in there, but otherwise, it’s a square dance of close quarters.
-Its always hot in the room. Prepare to sweat as you order food.
-Food is a bit slow to come out. I recommend ordering ahead so you’re not waiting 355 minutes.
This is one of our favorite places to eat, hands down. Don’t be skeptical, just try it, you’ll thank me.

Ordered from Carmelos Tacos on Dash, so can’t say anything about the atmosphere. However the food was outstanding! Consome was on point and the birria tacos was amazing! Great additions to the plate like whole jalapeño, pickled onions, and lime!!

A few weeks ago I ordered a burger off of their website, which I paid for in advance. When I came to pick it up, not only was my food not ready, but after about 25 minutes of waiting, I found out that the restaurant I ordered from, Rotana Bites, doesn’t even exist anymore. The employees were not helpful at all, and nobody seems to know what’s going on with their website or the different restaurants within u district eats.
I don’t mind ghost kitchens, but this place is so disorganized that it can’t be trusted. I wouldn’t recommend going here, because there’s a chance you will wait for a long time just never get your food. You are forced to wait for your food in this small room that just has a touchscreen and no employees. It’s not a good system, especially if you’re in a hurry or have a problem with your order.
Besides that, the main problem is that their website is not accurate, so you don’t know if the place you’re ordering from is really even open. I don’t ever leave bad reviews but it was a huge bummer to wait so long and then not get my food, it wasted my entire lunch break and that’s not cool.

Sucks. Every time I go here they don’t notify you that your food is done through the app. There’s no one to talk to, there’s no one to call.. even if the food was good by the time you pick it up, it’s cold because you have to harass people for your food. Never again.
