I stopped by to pick up a quick lunch and they had lunch specials. The food reminded me a cafeteria food with adult size servings. It was lacking flavor, which was surprising as the beans looked seasoned. I doubt I’d return.

Had an early dinner with my wife. Lil G’s is a nice Cajun restaurant in Belle Chase, LA. I Had the SHRIMP AND CRAWFISH with penne pasta. My wife had the ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. The seafood and sauce were excellent and the steak was cooked to perfection. Service was timely and very polite. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Service is excellent food is amazing what more could you ask for. Bring an appetite. The portions are big. Had the hamburger steak and sweet tea. Your tea glass never gets empty. The waitress is too fast for the tea glass.

The food was really good. Beautiful restaurant off the beaten path and hustle of downtown. The shrimp and grits were full of flavor. The grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly and good size too. The black beans and rice was a great combo with the grits. Even got the beignet bread pudding with dipping sauce was really good. Had a nice moist inner with a crispy coating. Definitely stopping back in next trip.

The entrees were reasonably priced for the portion size.
Kylie was friendly, excellent and informative. She took the time to answer any question asked as well as offer sincere suggestions.
I had a create your own entree, containing a shrimp Po’boy (it was overloaded with shrimp) and catfish. The dish came with potato salad and I added a side of red beans and rice. The entire meal tasted great!
My wife had shrimp & grits and added one fried soft shell crab. The crab never had a chance. It was fresh tasty and was devoured within minutes.
We will definitely will return to sample the rest of the menu.

Another night, so another dinner – picked Lil G’s – Here it was a no brainer for me, I wanted the etouffee, came with rice and half fried crawfish and a side salad. Almost too much but I forded on! Washed it down with Abita lager and to really finish… Beignet bread pudding with an decant Carmel sauce.

It was a really nice restraunt, good folks working there. The recommended red fish with the fixins was delicious, zucchini with garlic butter was fresh, crab balls (I usually hate crab cake) served hot (straight to me, no heat lamp) and was really good!!
