I’m going to be upfront: I hadn’t even opened the bag yet and already knew there was no ranch, even though I requested it. I ordered a chicken sandwich for my daughter with fries and a Diet Coke. There was nobody else there, yet I was still asked to wait out front for someone to bring my order.
When the food was brought out, I told the employee there was no ranch. She responded that it wasn’t her job to bring food out and said she was going back inside. After that, I called the store and spoke with someone I assume was a manager. She asked if the ranch was on the order. I explained that I added it late, but the drive-through employee said he would put it in the bag. Clearly, that didn’t happen.
I then asked for her name and she refused to provide it. I asked multiple times. She also would not transfer me to a manager if she was not one herself. At that point, I would have had no issue coming inside and paying for the ranch, but after the attitude and refusal to help, I wanted no part of the situation.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. There are plenty of other McDonald’s in the Quad Cities — I’d recommend skipping this one.

This McDonald’s has a super-fast drive-through service. Their food is at best quality for the brand. I personally love the 6-piece chix nuggets. Coffee, oatmeal, burgers are good. Appreciate the People that work here!

One of the worst McDonalds I have been to. I had to repeat my order multiple times and still correct her bc the screen still didn’t show what we ordered. Not a difficult order. Cheeseburger happy meal with ketchup and extra pickles. Never asked what the drink was… had to remind. When we got our food we took it home, they did not provide a straw but they charge for ranch… the cheeseburger did not have any pickles…. And the fries I think you could call warm not sure if they were even done… we won’t be back….

Brittany at the McDonald’s on 53rd is hands-down the best. Every single time I pull through the drive-thru, she greets me with a laugh, a big smile, and genuinely great energy that makes my day better. She always hooks my dog up with a puppy cup, which never goes unnoticed and means a lot.
It’s immediately clear that Brittany is a natural leader. If you’ve ever managed employees before, you’d recognize right away that she’s someone who helps a business grow and thrive. With the right tools and resources, she would do absolute wonders — honestly, I could see her owning or running a place like this one day. She treats customers right and runs things like a well-oiled machine.

i ordered food online, was the only person in line, and pretty much everything was no where near correct, i understand it’s close to closing but some people work late, i don’t know how anyone messes up a plain cheeseburger and put everything on it with way way to much mustard, then the cookies are fully smashed together, fries are completely cold, bottom of my burger looks like it was slid off another bun with everything on it and thrown on a fresh bun, this is a absolute joke of a place

Terrible Experience!!! Used the app ordered breakfast and the store refused to make order, waited over an hr for delivery before calling the store. Talked with the “Manager” via phone who had an I DON’T CARE ATTITUDE. called customer service and nothing was done. Don’t use the app, don’t use delivery STAY AWAY if you want to get your food.

Ordered a simple quarter pounder with cheese, no onions. What I got was a sad quarter pounder, no onions AND no cheese. Barely any pickles or ketchup/mustard. Be very cautious when going to this place.
