Made a reservation for a birthday party here. Everything was hassle-free and cordial. When we arrived staff were friendly and we were sat immediately. We were a large party so we did order a large portion of the menu. Appetizers came out quickly and were all good. Mains took a little longer but still in a good timeframe considering the size of the party and the variety of the orders. Pastas were sauced perfectly, steaks were all at prefect temps, seafood was all cooked without being rubbery. Here was where I am personally impressed. Sides are usually just a throw away at a lot of places, maybe they’re good if you’re lucky. The sides were amazing. Vegetables were cooked and seasoned the way I would, not in some get it out of the kitchen kind of way. This kitchen really was impressive.
Waitstaff were attentive without being interuptive. No one ever had to ask for anything it was always predicted, and drinks were always full. Good job guys.

Restaurant view was amazing btw.

Wonderful place!
The food is great, great service. But the outside area over looking the bayou is so beautiful.

I had my wedding at Bacchus on the Bayou in May and it was absolutely magical! The staff is absolutely top tier. JJ and her team are so attentive and went above and beyond for my perfect night. Chef Spoon and his team worked wonders in the kitchen. My #1 feedback from guests was how amazing the food was compared to normal catered wedding food. I mean who wouldn’t want steak, oysters and amazing apps! The view of course sold it for me but the food is definitely why we chose Bacchus. Highly recommend to anyone in the area for lunch/dinner or a wedding/corporate event!

Fabulous place! We had our work Christmas party here and they did a great job. We were very well taken care of. The meal was delicious. I had the Petite Filet, smashed potatoes and a salad. TOPS! Tuna Salad and Artichoke Dip with pita bread was a great appetizer. Hands down great experience. The serving staff were prompt, courteous, professional but personable.

Here in town on vacation. Looking for great views for date night. Host was gone from lobby for several minutes. We asked for a table near the water so she slowly cleaned it off. Not a friendly person for your host. Please train her better.
So there we sat… for a good 10-15 minutes. No one came to our table. We got up and went to the bar and got served. Good was delicious and well priced.
Got the check. Surprised to see that a side salad is a $5 up charge. You should let your guests know this ahead of time . Doesn’t say this on the menu. Extremely rude in my opinion.
To end on a positive note, awesome views! Saw a beautiful sunset.

One of my wife’s favorite places. She loves oysters. There is not much on the menu that I enjoy. I normally get a burger, but it seems that they can’t always get that right (ordered it medium). I did have my favorite Bushwacker there, then realized (when I had another on a different day) that they are dependent on the person making them. So it is now hit and miss. The debris fries are yummy, though. My daughter’s favorite.

We were on vacation and decided to go here for lunch. It’s a cute restaurant with a nice water view. The parking lot is fairly large and it’s easy to find. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We sat inside. Our server came fairly fast and took our drink order. They have a pretty decent menu with plenty of options. My husband ordered the oyster sampler platter, and he really enjoyed it. I decided to order a wedge salad, because I love a good wegde salad. And this wasn’t it. I was pretty disappointed. It definitely wasn’t a wedge and the dressing was very sweet. No blue cheese crumbles. I don’t recommend ordering it. I would still recommend this place, but I should have ordered seafood or a sandwich. I forgot to mention…the jalapeno bombers we got as an appetizer were very good. Oh well.

One of our favorite places to dine. Service is excellent. The only negative i have is the fence that was built so people would not fall down the hill and into the bayou. It is to tall to see over to view the bayou and wished they had used steel cables instead of the steel grid (again hard to see through). So next time I try and eat at the outside bar with a wonderful view of the bayou.
