Just all around good. Clean, friendly & consistent. Smaller groups, 4’s a good number. Yes, definitely meeting my friends again here.

Warm welcoming local gem. First timers are in for a treat, as the many regulars already know. First off the crew work as one terrifically well run group, efficient, effective and kind. Solid selection of breakfast staples, visit one, I chose the egg white omelette a perfect blend of greens and cheese, complimented with crispy potatoes and delicious sourdough. Plenty to take 1/2 home for breakfast the next day. The house coffee was a fine addition, strong and smooth. Lunch is top notch too. Later reviews: special, double cheese special- so so good, the meat was tender and flavorful, the bun complimentary- and held up during meal and two reheats at home. Bacon was really good, veggies and condiments just right. A big meal equaled two full meals and a snack. The BEST tater tots ever. Do something nice for your tastebuds, get into Spring Lake today.

I am a General Manager for a diner. The service and atmosphere here is amazing. I asked the waitress what she would have for lunch, of course thats what I ordered and yessssssss it hit the spot. walk in you see a BLACK LIVES MATTER sign hanging. Also, a LGBT FLAG. I was expecting it to be a young crowd. It was not. It was full of elders. Friendliest bunch of cliental I have encountered. My daughter is 9 and cleaned her plate I will be taking left overs home. Food amazing . Staff amazing. Coffee cup never empty.

Cute little place in firecrest. Service was great, food came out fast. Loved my chicken fried steak. There was a nice amount of beef in my steak which is a pleasant surprise. Enough I could still have some pink in the middle. The rosemary/thyme in the gravy gave it a nice homie taste. If your looking for a nice place to spend a morning in the area this one was very pleasant.

My daughter had a doctor’s visit in 20 minutes and she was hungry, so we found this cafe nearby. We went in and explained the situation, and they kindly provided us with a delicious breakfast in just a few minutes. The food was delicious, and they were super kind and helpful.
The cafe itself was cozy and had a really good vibe. I couldn’t think of a better experience someone could have in a cafe. This is definitely a place I will come back to, and I recommend everyone to come here.

Not sure why (or how) I’ve waited twenty-five years to check out the Spring Lake Cafe. Went there for their Oktoberfest Dinner.
Food was great, and the service was impeccable. It’s been some time since I’ve received such friendly service from every single staff member in a restaurant.
Truly felt welcome and appreciated.
Portions were large, food was well-seasoned, and their German-style offerings were spot on.
Definitely shall be back!

Had a delicious Easter Brunch here with my family. We got the Dungeness Crab Benedict, Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs, and the Hometown Breakfast. There was also complimentary biscuits, croissants, and mixed fruit cups. Everything tasted wonderful and the service was good.
*Update*
Had Easter Brunch again this year and it was amazing. The snickerdoodle french toast was so delicious.

From the moment we walked in the door, our party of six felt welcomed. Service was attentive the moment we sat down.
Food – I’m not a biscuit gravy fan but theirs was very good. I even wanted to take some back home to Ohio.
I look forward to bringing my mom back the next time I am in town.

When they say steak sandwich, they meant the entire cow. Great ingredients, German beers plus meals and drinks under $20. To set expectations , it’s a suburbanite cafe. No hipster gimmicks, no trendy stuff. But the owner is hip and bringing some flavor to the suburbs.

Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. The best gluten free bread I’ve ever had. Brenda was our server. We felt so joyed.
