I was super excited for a filipino breakfast but it turned out to be really disappointing. I wanted Tocino, Itlog, and fried rice. They had, Itlog, and fried rice, but the Tocino wasn’t the Pampangas best, granted it was homemade but it was bland and boring. We won’t be going back.

This is the place to go if you’re craving quick authentic Flip food. The BBQ is always delicious. I love the Kare Kare. The honeycomb tripe is always soft and cooked just right in it. Bistek is my fave! It’s the only one that reminds me of my grandma’s cooking and the Philippines. Def a must try spot!

As much as I wanted to give a higher rating, they just haven’t earned it—at least not yet. Here’s a quick recap of our experience: the food was pretty oily, and the prices didn’t feel reasonable!
One example is their Paksiw. We asked the woman taking our order how many pieces of fish come with the small size—she said one. Then we asked how much the large size costs—she said $12.50. So we asked again, how many pieces of fish come with the large? Her answer? Still just one. We repeated it back to her, and she confirmed it.
My partner and I looked at each other, confused. Are we paying more just for extra broth or what? It made no sense. So of course, we went with the small.
