I think this location is ok. It is a large boba shop with lots of seating inside but it felt old and musty when I walked in. They do have a nicely decorated corner in the back.

Service was good. Just ordered my drink and the young guy was quiet. There were no other customers at the time so my order came out quickly.

Hokkaido oolang milk tea was good. Next time would get with 50% sweetness. Guava tea was just ok, the tea was over steeped. The boba could have been cooked for longer. The vibe of the place was good.

Nova Boba has quickly become one of my favorite stops after a good hike or whenever I’m craving something refreshing. Their matcha tea with jelly is especially delicious—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and incredibly smooth. Whether you’re in the mood for tea, coffee, or just a treat to cool down, Nova Boba is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Its in a very remote place in poway, easy to get too. Extra parking in the back if needed. The interior is nice and the staff was Informative as well as nice/approachable. The drinks are authentic, no powders when drinks are made such as Thai tea. The sugar levels are 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100%, I got a 100% sweetness for the jasmine milk tea, its not really sweet to me ( but i usually like really really sweet) so I think for most people it’s a good scale. The boba is good, its not hard but soft and chewy. Overall, it’s a good spot, only been open a couple months.

A hidden tea (and limited coffee) spot in Poway. I’m not sure if I’d try the tea option, but I can say the iced brown sugar coffee is really good. I’ll definitely come back for at least that drink. Also the seating isn’t bad and service was good. Music or some background noise to break the dead silence on the store would be nice.

I ordered a drink with golden Boba and never got Boba. The drink itself also just tasted off and the service was slow, even though I was the only person in the establishment. This place was much better when it was owned by ding tea.

They are popping up in every city! Good for them! For the most part, they are all consistent but this time I did not get the same wow factor on my milk tea.

I usually get regular milk tea, winter melon milk tea or Hokkaido milk tea. Got Hokkaido this time and was disappointed. I did less ice, 50% sugar, no boba. You would think with less ice, that it would taste less diluted except it tasted like I had 100% ice and it melted on a hot day and I’m left with watered down tea. The 50% usually gives me the exactly sweetness because 25% sugar is too bland for me. Well, it was equivalent to 25% sweet because it was diluted and very bland.

Hokkaido milk tea is a Japanese black tea with milk giving a hint of caramel taste.

Not sure if they have these settings pre-measured or eye ball because it wasn’t consistent to other places. Probably need to go more sweet at this location.

The prices are fair with $4.95 and additional $0.95 for a large. Ding Tea is a competitor of The Boba Co. now and they are pretty close to each other.

Very refreshing boba tea. Lots of options. I believe the shop is changing management soon. But definitely worth a visit. Nice staff. Nice seating options inside.

It isn’t the best I ordered a winter melon milk tea and didn’t even get the topping I asked for, tasted like ice and watered down milk. Do not recommend this boba place.

Yummy Boba milk tea in Poway. Plus they have the Brick Ice cream Macarons which are my favorite and the green tea flavor is amazing! The place is clean and was not busy. The staff was not very friendly but the tea was Yum. So if you are a boba person and live nearby try this place!
