I go here from time to time to meet with friends because it’s a good midway point from where we live respectively. The place is okay, however I find it rather expensive. $6 for a domestic beer and $8 for a White Claw (malt, not vodka). I get it that restaurants are a tough business, but at the same time it’s difficult for people to patronize businesses with prices the way they are.

We waited well over 45 minutes to get our food with no heads-up or expectation-setting. It did not seem super busy at all. We had two kids with us who were doing their best but were basically falling asleep at the table. A simple “the kitchen is backed up, food may take a while” would have helped us decide whether to stay or go elsewhere.
We eventually got the standard explanation that “the kitchen is small and all the orders came in at once.” Our waitress was friendly, but the lack of communication was the issue. We ended up taking our food home in boxes, still hungry and frustrated.
Hope the burger is good, but we will not be returning.

Last time I went was about 2 months ago and it was cool. This time the security guard straight up racially profiled me. Showed my ID and walked towards my Friends and here comes forest gump chasing after me and told me I couldn’t be inside with my hoodie on or my durag which I wore a Durag last time so I was confused as I look around and some people are also wearing hoodies and I see another brother with a durag on… didn’t care to take off that rag but the hoodie? it’s pouring rain outside! And yet I had to be singled out. That guard must be miserable and gets pegged. Attitude was nasty. I just came to watch UFC

Vibes were there but one thing I thought was super unprofessional was, I usually pay cash for everything and tip at the end of the night, after my third drink the blond 30-40 year old bartender looks at me and says “let me guess, you don’t believe in tipping”…complete assumption and extremely unprofessional. I worked service for 2 years in a restaurant and saying something like that is a quick way to get fired. Obvi tipped her at the end of the night but honestly felt like not tipping a thing after that comment. I’m 22 and trying to get a job with student debt lady. Your assumptions and unprofessional actions shows a lot about your character. Work in the back next time if that’s how you feel about your customers. It’s harming your bosses businesses cause god knows how often you act like that toward paying customers.

I had a great time!! The bartender was very attentive and sweet! The wings were great! Nice fresh steamed clams!! Spacious bar, clean establisment, friendly atmosphere!

We had lunch there Sunday April 6th 2025
We sat for over 20 minuites in back area
Not one person came back
and came in thru the front door
And there was another table there
They never went to that table either.
They had to move to the front
I went to bar to ask why no server came back to assist us the bartender was kind ( blonde woman )
Then a server took over the conversation
she said ( brunette server with glasses )we never go back there unless we know some one is there
( well how would you know if no one goes back there )
then said she was too busy
But was socializing at the bar at the time
Also only 6 tables had people there in the entire restaurant. ..
She was
Confrontational
Aggressive
Rude
( this person does not have the best interest in your company )
Then 7 minuites later came to our table
We put our drink orders in
Then a different server brought the drinks and too over
she was fabulous. Attentive and charming
We stayed for the game ( U conn)
Had drinks, Appetizers and lunch
you need to seriously look at the horrible server if we get her again
We will REQUEST a different server every time
If not for the rude service from tje brunette server with glasses you would have a perfect score making us uncomfortable

ME ME
The waitress with blonde hair older one was rude, and she told us she was in charge. We have gone there 3 times. Each time there were charges on our bill that did not belong on it. 1st time charged for 2 extra beers my husband only had 1 and the waitress said she brought them out to me. I said no I don’t drink alcohol of any kind. I told her I had a coke see it’s there on the bill. 2nd & 3rd time a few up charges we were not told about. So, ask questions the owner said we should assume up charges. I said NO your staff should inform us.
It’s pretty bad when a business will start arguing with customers. To the one reading this don’t you want to know what they are going to charge. It took a long time to get the food out. The staff stands around talking with each other a lot and they have customers waiting for drinks. They will pass over certain customers and make them wait longer for some reason. Done with this place not worth it.
