I’ll Try It
We’ve tried many dishes at Red Orchid over the past couple of years, and have never had a bad bite.
Thai Tea had a pop of orange, and the creamy texture was perfect. The black tea base was recognizable but not overpowering, and the subtle vanilla/sweetness balanced very well. We get 1 to sip and share every time.
Pot stickers-The red curry sauce was smooth and flavorful, but a little too viscous. We would have like it to be a bit thicker, but the flavor was phenomenal.
Satay Chicken-Tender, juicy chicken skewers with a nice hint of turmeric and ginger. We order these every time. Getting a slight drizzle of the peanut sauce with the crunchy carrots and cucumbers is a bomb mix.
Yellow Curry-This is our favorite we’ve had. The coconut milk combined with the vegetables and spices is the perfect blend. If you order nothing else, order this.
Namtok-We surprisingly enjoyed this dish a lot. The beef was tender and not overly chewy, and the lime/chili pepper flavor was a real pop in each bite. It wasn’t a warm dish, if that’s what you’re interested in. But they provide a side wedge of cabbage to scoop with.
Critical Feedback-The interior is quite dated, and the bathrooms could certainly use some love. But the wait staff was engaging with our questions and providing recommendations, and we always have leftovers.

It’s a small unassuming little restaurant but trust me when I say it’s a hidden gem. The pad Thai is out of this world and the crab angel appetizer was perfection. So crunchy! A lot like crab rangoon but made with real crab. I’m gonna be dreaming about this food for days.

Thai food is my favorite, and this is my favorite Thai restaurant south of Atlanta. The staff is friendly, they have even fulfilled special requests that weren’t available on the menu.
The Tom Kha Gai is the best in the area! Drunken Noodles and Pad Prik King are excellent when available, with Drunken Noodle being my preference. The Red Curry Salmon has a nice crisp from being Char Grilled. Their curry can be a little on the thin side for me but still has a good flavor. I wish they offered Choo Chee Salmon which has a creamier sauce I crave. Everything has been fresh and great quality. As always a Thai Tea is a must have.

Always like to go to locally owned places where you’re actually putting money into the community and not some corporations coffers. That being said, we’re down this way for some work and decided that this would be a great place for lunch. And we were not wrong. We had to enjoyable lunch. Good food. Wonderful service. The people there took great care of us for lunch place was fairly busy and they were very attentive. Food came out quickly. They gave us both the levels of spice that we asked for. I got my mild so that I could add to it. My friend got his hot and he very enjoyed his that way. When we were down this way we will definitely be back again

Great place for Thai food. We stopped here as were passing by and were craving soup, the place did not disappoint. Impressed by the quick swift service and the staff was friendly. Restrooms were clean. Even though they had ample foot traffic and people coming in to dine in they were attentive and quick with what we needed.

Normally we have no complaints. I have left a great review before. Unfortunately, can’t say I can leave one this evening. We live in Hampton, it’s quite far, but very worth it!!! However, my sweet and sour chicken was overdone and dry-something I have ordered numerous times and was quite the opposite. They forgot to include the rice. And the wontons were also dry and overdone. I live too far to go back. I hope this was a one time issue, as I love their food normally.
