I stopped in for lunch with my son and was attended by Skylar in the bar area. She was sooo sweet and attentive, despite how busy they were for valentines. Food was awesome and flavorful. I had the spicy chicken Udon bowl and the spice level was perfect! Mojito and bao buns were also great! We will be returning as my son also loved the food.

Love Hawkers! The vibes are great. The decor is cute. The food is so good. The alcohol is strong but still tasty. I always enjoy coming here. Just know it will most likely be packed and it does get pretty loud at times.

Gluten free options and allergy menu, everything was amazing! The Singapore maifun is top notch! Kimchi was also stellar, the curry with my summer roll was epic! Tonya took great care of and liv made a great martini!

The server was great but I wasn’t a fan of the food. IMO the food is over priced and it wasn’t reminiscent of Asian street food. The bao buns tasted like they came outta the freezer they were missing that soft fluffy texture, the beef haw fun was very bland and the satay chicken was drowned in a awkward peanut sauce. The only dish I had that I would try again was the bulgogi steak even tho it tasted more like Mongolian beef than bulgogi.

The hype was better than the service, but the food lived up to its reputation!

After hawkers being incessantly recommended by friends, and missing our chance last time we were in town, we absolutely had to wait the 80 mins the host told us for a party of 5…

They were slammed and I was impressed by the haste of the cooks and waitstaff. The hosts way overestimated our wait, I’m not complaining but we watched a dozen couples walk away after being presented similar wait times with empty tables.

Our waiter Kermit (like the frog) was really cool and showed up as soon as we sat down. He was friendly and took our drink orders. Strangely, he seemed almost irritated by the time it took the five of us to order drinks and some egg rolls. I was the last to order in the rotation and by my turn he was clearly antsy to leave. I felt super rushed to order, and I tried to cheat by asking his favorite dish. Something prompted him to literally run away without answering. I hope all was well.

I like to think I’m an easy going guy, but I was seriously butt hurt about our service. I’m going to chalk it up to workplace stress or maybe an ill-directed attitude from an outside stressor. He was so chill until I ordered and when he came back from his brief exercise, he was chill again and had me clarify what I meant by “his favorite meal”. Since it’s a street food themed place, I used the wrong term to refer to his fav or go to dinner. I should have just asked if he liked the bibimbap, or the pad Thai better. He recommended the bibimbap!

I’ve enjoyed and even cooked bulgolgi beef before but let me tell you the bibimbap blew my mind! Like I said, the food lived up to its reputation! Kimchi has great flavor and was fresh, not nuclear hot like other “authentic” ones.

I got a chance to tax my girlfriend’s wonton soup, very salty, but very good. The wontons were distinctly fresh and I could tell they are made fresh in house and not frozen. The meat mixture in the center wasn’t like a rubber block it had real meaty texture and only in the center was a burst of ginger flavor. Unreal!! The thin noodles were great but they came cooked like a birds nest, and we couldn’t get them unglued from the main wad. It was like eating a rice ball, but it was really cool.

I finally ordered the satay chicken skewers after watching my friend’s parents vaporize 4 of them. The bus boy who delivered the satay chicken set down the plate and one skewer rolled onto the table and he looked mortified! I calmed his panic when I picked it up and immediately ate it like nothing happened. It was way too good to fuss about it touching the table, crazy fresh chicken that was 100% velveted during marination and covered in fresh chopped peanuts. Gonna just order 5 plates of satay chicken next time.

Almost forgot that I got the mojito that comes in a pouch like a capri sun. It was not very strong but it was so good. Amazing flavor, probably due to the whole bush of spearmint leaves they used! HUGE spearmint leaves and HUGE curly straw! What more could you ask for?

I want to give this place 5 stars so bad but I feared annoying my server by simply ordering too slow so it wouldn’t sit right with me if I did. I will be back again, and I will be changing this to 5 stars after a better visit!

I ordered from DoorDash. Everything tastes fresh! I’m not always a fan of Asian food so I was wary but heard this place was good. It didn’t disappoint, even through a delivery delay. Would try here again.

Absolutely loved this place. Came on recommendation while visiting USA and this place lived up to the hype and expectation. Great decor and layout, awesome service and amazing food. As close to or as authentic as in Asia itself! Highly recommend!

Amazing service and delicious food at Hawkers!

I had such a great experience here. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—I ordered the shrimp summer rolls, chicken satay, and bulgogi steak, and everything was perfectly seasoned and well-balanced. But what made the visit truly special was our waitress.

She was warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. She helped me choose great options based on what I was looking for and checked on us just the right amount—never intrusive, just thoughtful and professional. When I needed clarifications, she explained everything with such patience and detail, and her recommendations were spot on.

You can tell she cares about her guests having a great experience. Her kindness and service elevated the whole meal.

I’ll definitely be back—not just for the food, but because the service made it feel welcoming and memorable. Highly recommend this location and especially our wonderful waitress!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hawkers is one of those places that never lets you down. The vibe is fun and lively, the menu is packed with flavor, and the food always feels fresh and made to share. The bao buns, Korean twice-fried wings, and roti canai are must-haves — but honestly, everything I’ve tried has been on point.

The drinks are creative and pair perfectly with the street food style dishes, and the staff keep the energy up while making sure you’re taken care of. It’s the kind of spot that works just as well for date night as it does for a group hangout with friends.

If you’re in Jax and craving bold flavors and a unique dining experience, Hawkers is a go-to. Every visit feels like a foodie adventure.

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. It was amazing! First time trying it out after so many recommendations, we were not disappointed! The staff was friendly, speedy and super helpful. Our server (I believe her name was Sam) was AMAZING! She took her time to note my allergies and double confirmed everything we were ordering wouldn’t be contaminated. The kitchen crew were cooking up some magic as far as I’m concerned. I’m not a fan of duck usually and my favorite thing was the duck bao! The bulgogi was to die for and the Thai tea was delicious. We will most definitely be returning soon!
