I would say one of the best restaurants in the locality. Their food does have that authentic Indian taste right from chaat, curries and pastries. Latest i tried was Karahi Chicken and must say it was tasty and delicious. The perfect consistency and texture to the gravy, chicken pieces cooked to perfection. Would definitely go back soon and again to check out some new menu additions they have.

We had the Malai Kofta, Butter Chicken, Cheese garlic Naan, and several desserts!! The sauces were all decadent creamy & delicious! They’re super fast service and like doesn’t compromise on flavour! Highly recommended! Excellent employees. The door was swinging for DoorDash and Grubhub.

This is the 2nd time I’ve been here and won’t be the last. The man I spoke with today may have been the owner he was very personable and kind explained what food items are and what they had in them as well. The store is one of the cleanest I’ve walked into in years. You’re not waiting long for your food and the food is amazing. The service was an A+all across the board. And sorry that Naan flatbread was phenomenal yummy

India Hut in Norristown is a hidden gem worth discovering. Their Chicken 65 is a must try bursting with bold spices and perfectly crisp, it’s one of the best versions I’ve had locally. Every entrée we sampled was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared, standing out in quality compared to other restaurants in the area. The real highlight, though, is their dessert selection. The pastries are truly exceptionally fresh, rich, and delightfully satisfying. Whether you’re craving savory Indian classics or a sweet finish to your meal, India Hut delivers on every front. Highly recommended for both foodies and casual diners alike.

Our go to in the KOP area.

The chaat, Chole Bhature and the Indo Chinese are much recommended.

Honestly, you cannot go wrong with this place in anything you order.

Visited this Indian restaurant on Wednesday. They have Dosa night on Wednesday at 50% off and chat night on Tuesdays at 50% off. But on Wednesday they won’t serve Rawa Dosa and Uttappa.
We took Mysore Masala Dosa, tandori paneer tikka, Paper Masala Dosa. The size of Dosa is big enough for one person. Dosa is served with two Chatney and sambar. All tastes good. Ambience is okay. Parking and washrooms are available. Recommend for Indian food lovers.

India Hut Norristown was a pleasant surprise with great spread and good food. Ordered Chola Bhatoora and a chat item for us and it tasted great. Kids liked their dosa and finished them completely. Pastries tasted perfect. Took home too. Pricing was economical too.

I stopped by Indian Hut in Norristown recently and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything tasted. The place feels very homey, and the staff are super nice — they take time to explain what’s on the menu if you’re not sure what to try. The food has that comforting homemade flavor that’s hard to find these days. Everything, from the curries to the naan, tasted freshly made and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous, and everything came out hot and flavorful.

One thing that really stood out for me was their cakes. I didn’t expect a restaurant known for savory Indian dishes to have desserts like that, but wow — their cakes are delicious! Soft, moist, and not overly sweet, they make the perfect way to end a meal. It’s very convenient that you can grab a full dinner and dessert in one spot. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for authentic Indian food with a sweet touch at the end.

Worst food I have ever had in an Indian restaurant in USA. I have ordered chicken noodles and chilly chicken dry from here. Those noodles were oily, tasteless and saltless, the chilly chicken is at its worst with chicken texture like rubber and weird taste. My friends scolded me for getting food from here on a Saturday night chilling time. We discarded the food, I would rather starve to death than visiting this restaurant again. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN AN INDIAN RESTAURANT IN USA.
