I’ve always just gotten DiCarlo’s when I’m in this area of Ohio and West Virginia but they weren’t open today here in Saint Clairsville, so I found Papa D’s and I’m absolutely impressed.
I walked in and was greeted by a very nice and efficient worker. Told me will be ready in 15 minutes and it was.
I got a round cheese only pizza and a large order of cheesy breadsticks. Both were cooked perfect and equally delicious. The round pizza had a perfect crunchy crust, slightly thick, with delicious sauce.

The last 3 times I’ve had to pick up a DoorDash from there has been awful! I go there at the time DoorDash says the order should be ready , it’s never ready. I’ve literally waited 20-30 mins for the order to be ready. They barely acknowledge me, they ignore that I’m there & then when they do talk to me they say it’ll be 10 mins but it’s really 20 at least. It completely puts me behind schedule , I miss out on multiple deliveries & money every time I go there. I dread getting an order from there bc I know it’ll be an extremely long wait & theyll be half rude to me like it’s my fault they’re busy or I chose to get an order there. If they don’t like DoorDashers, then quit using them!

When I first went there, the pizza was spectacular! I ordered the garlic crust pizza and my mom ordered the regular. After several months, the owner left the large container of garlic salt by the napkins so you could make it that way yourself. Lazy! The owner also trash talks other local pizza places with customers she hardly knows. The taste and quality of the food has gone downhill drastically. The restaurant always looked dirty on the door, windows, tables and floors. The employees did not want to clean during their down time. Maybe a call to health inspector could make them clean better?

Not sure of his name but the blonde, male employee is THE BEST one to make the pizza! I’ve had a different person before and, quite frankly, it didn’t taste as good. He must just have the pizza mojo!! Their pizza is awesome as well as their customer service!!

Was best pizza around until owner changed hands. Our office ordered once weekley, not anymore. Ordered today. Was very disappinted. Pizza was very thin and hardly no sauce. Will not be a regular anymore.
