Great location, we came for lunch on our way around Blue Ridge Parkway. Came a few minutes after opening and was already getting crowded, but the place is huge with lots of seating. Service was weird – we ordered and they gave us a number but they gave us the wrong number and our food came out late, so was a little cold. Got a hotdog and ribs. Ribs weren’t anything special and the hotdog was extremely overpriced at $13. Loved sitting outside though.

Well, we’re here for the weekend and it’s a long three day weekend. All the bars are closed. The restaurant is not open. It’s not their fault that it’s raining but it’s a three day weekend. You would feel that maybe it was not open at all. Hope they changed their policies.

Everything has been spot without exception. My wife’s grew up in the south, her favorite veg is collard greens and somehow last week she had the best collard greens of her life. Big deal right? Her mom owned a fancy restaurant downtown for years and was a chef so ya it’s saying something. Positive, welcoming, friendly and fun. For a dive bar date or with the family and kids. You’ll feel welcomed without a doubt. I’ve met all the staff, Luke, Tim, Eric and management Anthony and I think Karen. They know how to run a place that feels good coming to. Actual creek out back with little beach to dip your toes while sipping your favorite beverage. Play some pinball or foosball and bring some singles to send the kids to the claw grabber toy machine or the playground out back. Hang with a date inside at a choice of the bar or two seating areas or out front or out back. I almost don’t want to write this and blow up my spot. I can’t believe I lived in AVL 6 years before finding out about this place. Oh ya and the prices are friendly. What’s not to love? And TVs and Darts but not like a sports bar. And if you stop by, check out the electric bike store across the street…

After a hike/walk along the Blue Ridge parkway, we were famished. This place had the atmosphere and food we were craving! Felt immediately welcomed by the bartender. He gave us great recommendations to add to our meal. The burgers we ordered were cooked exactly to our liking. The pickles were place with care! Not just a heap in the middle. I love a good burger, it’s probably the best burger I’ve had. Couldn’t put it down until it was gone!

A very fun spot to grab a bite to eat, drinks some brews, play darts, watch the game, and much more! The food came out quick and was very fulfilling. The bartender was epic and we loved talking with him. Can’t wait to come back and play more bar games and slam some more food! We got the tap house burger and sweet Thai chili wings and loved them! My boyfriend drank the gingers revenge and I got the Foothills IPA.

This place is on point. All of our food was delicious. The veggie burger, kettle chips, sweet tea, chips, fries, pickled veggies, sweet potato fries and feta dip for the sweet potato fries were all really good. I didn’t try the rest of our food but my family loved it. Good beer options too. Cute place. Clean. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Nice outdoor space out back. Nice air conditioned space indoors. Darts and arcade space looked fun.

Appreciate that they have a large outdoor seating area because my family wanted to eat outside (we visited in the summer). They are dog friendly and family friendly. There is a playground for the kids. The parking lot was full but there was additional parking available a little past the restaurant. Parking was free. Server was great. Veggie burger was good. I wish there were more vegetarian options available. It was $17.50 for the burger with sweet potato fries, which is a little steep. Menu felt limited. Unlikely to return. I think it’s a fine option for someone who wants “traditional American food” options.
