We traveled around the world and across the country to finally visit Uncle Bill’s Pancakes and the Jersey Shore.
Terrific food and service! Delicious ripe banana pecan pancakes, crispy bacon, hashbrowns, and an egg cooked just right. We asked for over-medium and they nailed it!

This is last summer, the room we sat almost empty when we got there , but no service people come to take order or do something. Later the room is full, the waitresses served other tables including the table next to us who came much later than us. The table next to us almost done their breakfast, waitress just started taking our order. That day we are the only table not white. We don’t like to play race cards, but this place is the first place makes us feel very bad.

We visited here for a late breakfast on vacation. The restaurant was bustling but our party of five was seated right away, and our server stopped by the table to get our drink order quickly. We barely had any wait at all to get our food, which was so delicious. I got the “special plate” and it was so filling and the pancakes were top notch. Our server continued to deliver fantastic service throughout the meal, and the kids were super excited to reach pick out a lollipop at the end of the meal. We also saw them accommodating large groups by removing a divider between booths, which was really clever. We’d definitely return here again!

Fast service. No wait for us at 9 am Saturday. I had the eggs Benedict. One of the poached eggs was hard, but it didn’t really matter because everything tasted really good. The home fries were great. My husband also enjoyed his waffle. Tasted like an apple pie.

We had heard great reviews from several friends about Uncle Bill’s, so we had to try it out today while visiting Avalon. Sadly we were disappointed. We got takeout because their website said they were only open for outside seating (and it was 38 degrees today), but when my husband picked up the food there were people sitting inside. If we had known that we would have gone in-person. Anyway, there were four of us eating – my husband and I, and our 3 and 5 year olds. They had no kids menu, so we ordered strawberry pancakes, french toast, stuffed french toast, and bacon/sausage sides. The french toast was super sad looking. It was literally just two pieces of sandwich bread with some cinnamon. The pancakes didn’t have any strawberries inside of them, only sliced on top (which looks pretty, but that’s not what we ordered). Plus the pancakes themselves were really bland. My husband’s stuffed french toast consisted of two pieces of the sad french toast with a little cinnamon creme stuffing. He was still hungry after eating it (and he’s not a big guy). I wouldn’t have been all that upset if we hadn’t paid $63 dollars for bland diner food. Our family has gone out to eat at places like Turning Point or First Watch for way better food, more of it, and less money. I really wanted to like this place because I love family owned and operated places rather than chains, but the food was super bland and REALLY expensive for what you get.

Came here during October before a wedding. The food cane out fast and was really good. There were 7 of us and none of the orders were messed up and we all changed at least one thing about our orders! Amazing service and good food!

Good breakfast joint at a reasonable price. Crepes with hot apples & veggie omelet both were tasty and well prepared. Wait staff all by college students and was OK. Seats near back are noisy as there’s no kitchen door.

So, it was described to me by family as best pancakes ever!!! They did NOT disappoint !! Best way to describe what I had…plain, (not blueberry, etc). These pancakes were good and had flavor even if you were to forego butter and syrup. Truly. Of course I had a little butter and syrup but I always taste the pancake by itself….usually have to load up on butter / syrup but NOT THIS time….Not dry, already has it own flavor….slightly buttery maybe vanilla too….couldn’t place it but super yummy all on its own so definitely a treat WITH butter and syrup !!! Had side of extra crispy bacon …for me, cooked to perfection and loaded with flavor !! Service was friendly and SWIFT !! No long delay waiting for food !! CLEAN BRIGHT, FRIENDLY SUPER YUMMY and reasonable. When back in area, definitely stopping by again for breakfast!!!!
