I’m an avid Wingstop fan through and though. When I found out this location was down the street from my work, I was ecstatic.
It’s unfortunate that this is probably the worst Wingstop location I’ve ever been to.
My most recent issue has been trying to receive a refund for my Super Bowl order. I ordered in advance for a 10-piece combo. Not a large order, just a 10-piece combo. I got to the store and it was packed. Understandably so. I waited for about an hour past the pickup time and told them I would need to cancel the order and receive a refund as I could not wait any longer. All good, not a problem.
I was empathetic towards the employees working that day because BOY were they slammed. I waited until after the game to give a call and request a refund. I spoke with Daniela and provided my name, number, order, etc. She said she would have it processed that week. The refund never happened, so I contacted again back on the 02/15/26. I again spoke with Daniela and she advised that she submitted the refund and it would be processed later in the week.
It is now the end of the week and still no refund. I may just have to request a chargeback from my credit card provider.
All in all, my experiences here have been very hit or miss.
There has been more than one time where my order was incorrect and was given the wrong flavors. One time, their soda machine had issues and did not have any soda/ice. They did offer a soda can but they were limited to the last flavor they had left.
There have been times where there were no issues service wise, but the food quality was mid and not consistent to previous experiences. Many times the fries were not on par and the wings were soggy as if they’ve been sitting for a while. There was one time the food and service were absolutely A+.
Compared to the other Wingstop locations I’ve been to. This is very mid.
The employees are nice and helpful though. They’re doing the best they can.

Wings cooked prefect. Sauces are right amount. Kids love the cheese sauce. Celery was little tough. Prices are good. When I went pick up they were little backup with orders. You may want to order little ahead during busy hours. But staffs were very friendly and apologized about delay.

This is the BEST Wingstop location ever. I come here all the time like literally every week. The staff is quick and even if I have to wait I don’t mind be patient. I usually do pick up/mobile order and when I arrive the food is fresh and ready. Daniela Arispe is the General Manager and she is always kind and nice. She always smiles and says “Hi” to me when I walk into the store. But overall the Gainesville location is amazing at what they do. Thank you for making awesome wings.

The guy was very kind and attentive; he took my order as quickly as possible and was very helpful. I loved his kindness and attentiveness, and
I was delighted with the food. The wings were delicious and hot.
Wingstop is an incredible restaurant with exquisite food. My boyfriend and I were thrilled with the service and the food.

I’ve always enjoyed Wingstop’s food, but honestly, the organization at this location needs serious work. I ordered for the Super Bowl at 7 a.m. for a 5:45 pickup—it’s now 6:40 and I’m still waiting. It’s not just today; the staff seem consistently overwhelmed, accepting new orders while struggling with existing ones. I say this with respect: please overhaul how you manage the flow. You’ve got great food—now the service needs to match.

Ordered yesterday February 7 for a pickup today at 5:30. Got to the restaurant at 5:30 and there were literally 50 people waiting. Packed in like sardines no room to move. The guy at the counter told me it would be an hour wait. Waited an hour and went back in. They said 20 more minutes. Waited 20 min and asked again they said they had no idea when my order would be ready. Waited another 40 minutes and still wasn’t ready. I went home. Will be calling for a refund. 2 hour wait is INSANE.

Placed an order two hours in advance to avoid having the long walk in wait. Ordered at 5pm for a 7pm pick up. Once I got there at 655pm I had to show the manager my email confirmation which was perfectly fine. Waited 30 mins (no joke, literally 30 mins) for my to-go order. Then got handed the wrong order and didn’t find out until we got home. Then tried to call about the mix up and was put on hold for 20 mins (again, no joke, literally 20 mins to get back on the phone.) Had to return the wrong order and wait for our correct one to be made again. No refund or credit offered or anything like that. All for some pretty average wings.

The food was perfectly decent and I had no issues with the taste or the quality. The glaring issue is the fact that they were severely understaffed and under a lot of pressure. The entire time I was dining there, the staff were moving around and doing their tasks without a single break in between. Yes, it took a while for my order to come out! But considering the fact that it was a holiday weekend, 10+ orders on the screen (most of which were online and people were coming all at the same time), and making the food, they got the stuff done.
I agree with the opinion that the service was subpar, but looking at all the details here, I understand why. There should’ve been more people working especially with how busy Virginia gateway is.
