After a long workday, my boss and I stopped by Brazilian Bakery in Silver Spring — a casual spot serving authentic Brazilian comfort food like sandwiches, pastries, and snacks.
I went for a Coxinha, that golden, teardrop-shaped classic filled with shredded chicken and creamy cheese, perfectly fried with a crisp shell and a soft, flavorful center. Then came the X-Tudo — a monster of a burger stacked with beef, bacon, ham, egg, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, crispy potato sticks, and mayo. It’s one of those sandwiches that demands both hands and full commitment. I washed it all down with an ice-cold Guaraná Antarctica, because when in a Brazilian bakery, that’s just the move.

The feijoada was amazing! The coxinha was decent, I wouldn’t get that again, but would definitely travel the distance for the the feijoada, for sure.

We came in near closing time. The food on the buffet line was still pretty fresh. The stewed oxtail and black bean with pork was a little bit on the salty side, but easily balanced with rice, fried plantains, and salad mix. Reasonably priced and the staff was accommodating enough. I’ll come back here again for a a quick dine in or take out.

Is a mistake just go en ask for the bread with out ask the price, you will surprise at payment. I think they charge to much for bread, don’t go with out considering the matt that you have to make, I am very disappointed. I think all Latin bakery should have the price on bread, because we don’t know if they are making the correct total. And don’t take advantage of costumer.

I had to quick order a custom birthday cake for my husband’s birthday the next day. These guys were willing to take my order and make it happen. The cake was a banana cake with nuts and a banana filling. They added a caramel topping, decorated it with whipped cream and mint leaves. It was not only gorgeous, it was moist and super delicious. FANTASTIC!!!! Will definitely order from them again. Thank you, thank you.
