Been coming all the way down here from bucks county PA on my day off for the last 10 years or so. I come here after I spend the day at the beach! It’s always delicious and fresh and I look forward to it every summer

My first time at Surf Taco. To start, Anna, the cashier was so sweet and willing to assist me in making a choice.
I ordered a 2 taco combo which included rice, beans, tortilla chips and a fountain drink $11.55.
Each taco can be a different choice.
I chose 1 tempura fried shrimp taco and 1 beef taco. Both DELICIOUS!!!! The shrimp were huge, tasty, not greasy and topped with shredded cabbage and white cilantro sauce.
Anna asked me if I would like the beef taco shell crispy. Of course I said yes. It was obvious that the shell was fried fresh right before serving and loaded with tasty , quality ground beef and piled high with 2 mixes of shredded cheeses.
The plate was piled with white rice and black beans. A whole lot of food, enough for 2 people to share. Anna, you will be seeing more of me. Thanks for being so nice!!!

It was a casual enough place to stop by for some tacos after the beach , but nothing really stuck out to me as great. The tacos (shrimp, surf, and shrimp mango) were delicious, but I don’t understand why each taco came with its own basket and serving of chips. 10 tacos = 10 baskets. Kind of ridiculous, in my opinion. Also, I guess keep “coastal cuisine” in mind because the rice and beans were so disappointing and bland when you’re expecting Mexican rice.

I like this location better than the Long Branch one. It definitely gets crowded so sometimes food takes longer but always so courteous and friendly. Location is clean and organized!

I would say normally our experience at surf taco is fine, we tend to go to the wall location but tonight my son and I were in Belmar. We walked in around close to 6, one of the employees was out front talking to a couple, and it was completely empty up front. We waited for a few minutes, nobody showed. I called out “hello, is anyone here?” And I could hear people working in the back room. And saw someone sitting on the table in the back. So we ended up leaving snd finding food elsewhere after no one came up front.

Surf taco has some great fajitas, some of the best around. One slight complaint is to get pico you have to pay 43 cent for a dip container when you give away the hot sauce away for free and those are just balanced pico. Just seems weird to me.

I always go to the one in wall while at work and I’ve never had an issue there(so nice). I always order through the app and they always get the add ons and customizations at that store. But when I ordered from Belmar they neglected to add the cauliflower onto my tacos that I paid $2.95 extra for per taco when the tacos were only $3 each to begin with. . . They also didn’t add the red onions I paid for and didn’t read any of my notes that I put at the bottom asking for it to be cooked a specific way. I will not be going back to this location I’d rather make the drive to wall.

This place is awesome! I wish we had some in CT where Im from. The staff was so friendly even tho my friends and I asked a million questions. Staff members came over to the table and checked in with us, cleared our plates and everything. Would give a billion stars if i could! Bonus the food was fresh and delicious, and portion sizes were huge! Love it! Cant wait to be back if i can ever make it to this area again!
