The quesa birria was ok, but not as good as I was hoping based on other reviews. I also ordered mangonada, and it was just frozen chunks of mango doused in chamoy and tajin…the drink/smoothie base was not there. If you want good Mexican food, you need to get over to the Shenandoah Valley, folks. Birria is best at Iguana Azul (Waynesboro) and mangonada and other drinks and snacks at Carnaval Spot (Harrisonburg). I feel bad about leaving this review, the people were very nice and service was fast…but it just wasn’t the best food I’ve had.

I am editing my review 9 months later. Yet another 5* experience. The steak and churizo burrito is still my favorite. Just tried the churo for the first time and it is lights out! I didn’t know churos could be so good.

I had a steak and chorizo burrito and it blew me away. I have had my fair share of Mexican food throughout my life but it turns out there is a whole upper echelon that I have yet to experience until today. If you think you like Mexican food, wait until you try this!

Their elote is THE best. True street style, not the stuff you see in restaurants around here. I used to live in Santa Ana, CA and this is the closest thing I’ve found to it. Haven’t been inside their store area yet, usually just get tacos, elote and guacamole. Never a long wait. Highly recommend!!!!
