I wasn’t staying at this hotel so I called ahead to ensure that I could still go to the restaurant, I was excited when I was told absolutely sir, we’d love to have you.
I got a nice table all to myself so that I could read my book while waiting for my food.
My waiter was awesome. Agree to me with a smile on great energy. I let him know about my dietary restrictions and he told me not a problem. We got you covered. Steak came out exactly as I ordered medium well.
I was able to read while I waited and even though I had earbuds in listening reading music, the restaurant was not too loud. I probably could have enjoyed reading without any music.
The steak was delicious. The service was excellent! I will definitely return when I visit Pismo Beach in the future.
Thank you to the staff for a great dining experience.

Make a reservation in advance — it’s worth it!
We dined here recently and were lucky enough to be seated on the patio. The view is absolutely gorgeous and really sets the mood. One suggestion though: cleaning the windows would take the experience to the next level — the smudges do take away a bit from enjoying the view fully.
Our server, Thomas P., was quick, polite, and attentive throughout the evening. Now, on to the food and drinks!
What we ordered:
• SeaVenture Clam Chowder – $13
Rich and hearty with a generous amount of seafood. The texture was thick and creamy, and the presentation was beautiful. A strong start to the meal.
• Pork Belly & Scallops – $29
Absolutely perfect. The squid ink risotto was creamy and packed with flavor. The pork belly had that ideal contrast — crispy on one side, tender on the other — and the scallops were cooked beautifully. This was hands down my favorite dish of the evening.
• Coconut Shrimp Tacos – $20
A well-executed dish overall. The flavors came together nicely, but for me, it leaned just a bit too sweet. Still enjoyable, just a matter of personal taste.
• Pismettes – $18
A fun and tasty snack! Served with a variety of sauces that added a lot of flavor and variety. Great to share.
• Pomegranate Margarita – $14
• Raspberry Lemon Drop – $14
Both cocktails were decent, but honestly, we were hoping for something more unique or memorable. They tasted fine but lacked a standout flavor or presentation.
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 ⭐️
The food was truly delicious, especially the Pork Belly & Scallops — a must-try. The only reason for not giving a full 5 stars is the cocktails, which we felt didn’t quite meet the creative bar set by the rest of the menu.
Still, a great dining experience — and we’d definitely come back!

This place probably has the best views of the beach in Pismo for a restaurant, it has great outdoor seating and indoor seating, it’s very dated though. The food is very disappointing, but the service and view are incredible. There are far better options for flavor and food, but the view is nice. The food has solid presentation factor, but the taste just isn’t there.

Food seems of very poor quality. Ordered the clam chowder and there wasn’t a single piece of clam in it. Ordered the chile verde omelet and the eggs seem like they were poured out of a box and weren’t fresh cracked eggs. Was served water with no ice while sitting in the sun and other tables were served water with ice. Our server was not knowledgeable on food or drinks and looked a hot mess. I’m not one to judge, but just not what I expected for the atmosphere. Also, I’ve never had Chile verde with a ton of onions in it. It was quite disgusting. I ordered two different drinks and they both tasted like pure alcohol, some may like a heavy pour, but I like a fruity drink to taste fruity. I tried the pomegranate marg and the raspberry lemon drop. Both were putrid. The customer service was phenomenal by a couple, but horrible by others and they were also talking crap to where I could hear from the table. I’m truly being nice by giving two stars.

We had dinner at SeaVenture Restaurant and it turned out to be a highlight of our time in Pismo Beach. The setting is simply stunning, with beautiful ocean views that become even more magical at sunset. Watching the sun dip into the Pacific while enjoying dinner made the evening unforgettable.

For was great honestly, No complaints by any means. Our server (red) was very friendly and extremely kind and outgoing. Atmosphere was nice but we went when it was already dark so we missed out on the epic view. We ordered the surf and turf for two and everything was honestly very very tasty but one thing was the cook missed the asparagus that was supposed to come with the meal. We didn’t even realize until we finished the meal and by then we weren’t interested because we were so incredibly full. We had the calamari for app which was also good. A bowl of clam chowder was also excellent. The bread with sweet butter was also a highlight. We’d definitely eat here again and hopefully we get red as our server again. Finished the night off with the creme Brulee which was not the best. The actual custard was a little lacking as far as flavor and not as sweet as we were hoping for.

Me and my wife went there for our 40th wedding anniversary. We’ve been here before, we both had the macadamia pesto crusted halibut with creamy shrimp and lobster risotto, grilled asparagus. It was outstanding, the flavor melted in our mouth, our server Jim was outstanding very attentive, but not overwhelming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys seafood. The price was right and the food, service and view are all outstanding.

Perfect for Anniversaries and Birthdays! Breath- taking views of the Ocean from Pismo Beach. This restaurant is on the 3rd floor of the hotel and can be easily accessed from the parking garage. Had dinner on a weekday. For the occasion, my wife and I ordered the combination lobster and steak deal for two and it was perfect! Food was prepared and presented superb! Try their wide selections of wine and cocktails. Prices are just right for the quality. We dined during the perfect sunset. Service was the best and couldn’t be any more courteous. Outside dinning is also available. Parking is free and plentiful, so be sure to let the front desk know you’re there to dine. Easy access from the 101 freeway. After you eat, walk along the beautiful Pismo Beach just steps away.

Had the most wonderful Christmas dinner at the C Venture! Always blessed to dine here. Delicious food. Loved our 3 course meal. We had Shane as our server and he was so amazing, accommodating, and tended to our every need. Sam was also amazing. Great service! One friendly suggestion is I wish that the restaurant have background music. Love this restaurant as always!
