A local resident recommended this spot for breakfast, and it did not disappoint! We seated ourselves and were greeted and served right away. We ordered a loaded omelet and a classic breakfast plate—everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing.
Our waitress was in training on her very first day, and she did a fantastic job—friendly, attentive, and on top of everything.
Highly recommend this place for a great breakfast and welcoming service!

We stopped here on our way to OK, and the ladies were kind enough to let us eat even close to their closing time at 2pm. The food was really good, and desserts were spot on as well.

Just happened upon this cafe. It was just what we were looking for. A family run cafe with home cooking at reasonable prices. The hamburger was delicious. The steak fingers were hand breaded and very tasty. We would definitely stop here again.

This was the first time here for my brother and I. The fish plate was great, may be the best in we’ve had in east Texas. The service was very friendly and attentive. We’ll be back regardless of one issue, when paying my brother tipped the cook because everything was prepared perfectly. The owner immediately told the cook in front of Everyone that if she didn’t share the tip she would Fire her on the spot. The owner said this more than once. Very rude and inappropriate in the public view. We often tip the cook when the meal was done right because most places do not share tips with the cooks. We really enjoyed the meal so we’ll probably return to give them another chance.

We went for breakfast as I’m a vegetarian. I had veggie omelette and two pancakes. My wife had the loaded omelette. We both enjoyed our meals very much. The owner (I supposed) chatted with us and was very attentive to our needs.

We stopped here on Friday on our journey from Houston area to Hot springs Arkansas. We didn’t want to stop and eat at a chain restaurant. We wanted to try something we wouldn’t be able to eat elsewhere and man this was definitely the place! Friendly staff from the min we opened the door till when we left. Food is quality and very reasonably priced. Can not talk highly enough about the cowboy bites.

Delicious breakfast! In the photo are the breakfast burrito and Aunt B’s breakfast. Good coffee, good service; we’ll be back to try out the lunch menu.

I love the idea of this place being a home town restaurant, BUT definitely needs some fixing on some things. The floor was falling through and we had a roach was in our basket of jelly. The food was average and so was the service. It took longer then 30 minutes for our food. We’re all disappointed.
