Absolutely loved this place! So many delicious gelato flavors to choose from, with endless toppings and rich chocolate that melts in your mouth The decor is super cute hanging ice cream cone displays from the ceiling and colorful wall paintings make it such a fun spot
They also have some souvenirs, perfect to remember your visit. Friendly service, great quality, and a location that’s perfect for a sweet treat in downtown Overland Park.

This gelato shop was a welcome sight on a hot day at the fall festival. My husband was a big fan of the Root Beer Float gelato, they offered a good variety of flavors, and the shop is clean and very cute. There’s lots of seating in the courtyard just outside the shop. We’ll have to stop in again the next time we need a sweet treat.

Run, do not walk to Flying Cow Gelato!! Now open on 80th St in Downtown OP. Featuring rotating flavors of fresh made Gelato, as well as KC’s own Annedore’s Fine Chocolates. TLDR; Eat here.

Straciatella, was by far my favorite. The word has several meanings from cheese to soup, but the Gelato was better than I could have imagined. Thin layers of chocolate, various lengths and widths are laced throughout the ice cream. Who didn’t love Vienna Ice Cream Cakes because of that?!

I rounded out my two selections with Pistachio and Dark Chocolate. I’m fortunate enough to have tasted pistachio Gelato meters from the Sicilian Pistachio trees they were picked from, so I was eager for a trip down a savory memory lane. It was good, glad I tried it. The color was unusual, but what we know of Pistachio coloring is probably fabricated anyways. I did wish it had pieces of Pistachio in it, but the flavor was there.

I mentioned Annedore’s, this name reminds me of grade school, visiting the location on 41st St in Midtown for a treat after school (thanks Mom!). So I had to try the dark chocolate, it was rich. Decadent. I noticed I was eating it slower than the other two, but it was eaten in its entirety. They had a selection of candies, I noticed chocolate covered coffee beans, so I had to have.

The courtyard it shares with Strang Hall to the East, is prefect to grab a bench or chair and enjoy the evening breeze. It wasn’t cheap, but comparable to any of the other small ice cream shops near the area.

This is such a cute little ice cream shop located in a very cute neighborhood. The child sized dish was plenty of ice cream for me. I know this is just a small shop, but I do wish they offered more flavors and cone options. There’s not much room to sit inside, but there is seating outside when the weather is nice.

Such a nice clean location with friendly staff. They had recently got hit with an unexpected large crowd, so they didn’t have the gelato selection they normally have, but thankfully had exactly what we needed. Kids really enjoyed the flavors. Strawberry tasted like real strawberries. Gelato was rich and smooth.
