Literally, my most treasured dim sum spot, and not just in Utah! I love every single dish here. I’ve been going here for over 4 years and not once have they let me down. Everytime family comes to visit, this is a must visit spot! I very much appreciate how they serve all day dim sum. Lots of dim sum spots only serve dim sum during breakfast/brunch times. In addition to all their great dim sum, please make sure to order one of their larger entrees, like their soft shell crab. SO YUMMY! The ambiance is nice. Also, all the servers are so so kind. There may be a slight language barrier, but they make me feel so special and appreciated. Such an authentic place. I will be returning forever and ever!

So yummy! Try the green beans and salt and pepper pork chops are so delicious. They are also very kind and helpful. We also love their cream cheese wontons of course. This time we also got the orange chicken and brocolli beef and that might sound basic but they are way yummier than your typical orange chicken and brocolli beef!

So far, this is the BEST chinese restaurant in Utah I have tried if you want authentic southern chinese formal dinner banquet style dishes (I like One More Noodle House for northern chinese noodle and need Maple for Southern Chinese Dim Sum, but these two are too different kind of food for a direct comparison). Tastes like authentic southern chinese food. I went with two discerning Chinese person including one tourist from Hong Kong and they loved it. Honestly I am perplexed how this restaurant can have only 4.2 stars and not 5. I think people don’t know what to order or they are not used to authentic chinese food.
5/5: salt and pepper shrimp, egg plant, grill duck, steam fish, chinese watercress, Mapo tofu.
4/5: nothing
Update. This time went with 10 people a year later. We only paid $21 each!
5/5: salt and pepper shrimp, egg plant, grill duck, steam fish, chinese watercress, sweet and sour pork (addictive), lamb with dried bean curd
4/4: nothing

Dim sum was good , unfortunately they was cold, not sure if they only make them in the morning I think we got there after noon. No happy faces, service was just ok.

I was surprised when we were seated, that there were plastic tablecloths. Then they brought water in red Solo cups.
However, I’m so glad I stayed, because the food is incredible! I’ve struggled to find good Chinese ever since Chin Wah closed. I’m pleased to announce, this place is pretty darn good !
I have seen many many restaurants come and go in this spot, sadly I fear it is the location, is just doomed. Let’s change that, and please go see these people, their food is wonderful.

Idk why people get hung up on the plating, people need to get out more tbh. The food was great and the staff was kind and respectful. Got dim sim and thought the chicken feet and rice rolls were particularly good. Definitely coming here again

Don’t skip on: Dried Beef Flat Noodle
I had a wonderful dining experience at Cafe Ang Hong. We came in a group of 6 and it felt like home to have such great quality dim sum. We ordered all the classics, siu mai, chicken feet, beef balls, shrimp dumplings, cha siu bao and more. After, we ordered the dried beef flat noodles, a must because they make their noodles in house!
The staff here were nice and welcoming, as well as efficient! The restaurant itself was well kept and visually appealing.
Can’t wait to come back again soon!

We ordered the Deep Fried Meat Dumpling, Chicken Feet, Shrimp Har Gow, BBQ Pork with Honey Sauce with Ham Fried Rice, and Beef Short Rib w/Green Beans with Steamed Rice. The fried dumplings were amazing and I’ll order again next time. The owner was surprised I got the chicken feet, but they’re honestly not bad, although I’d only order to get others to try them; not for myself. The shrimp har gow was good, but not something I liked. Both entrees were great, and I recommend spending the extra $3 for the ham fried rice – it’s well worth it. There are a lot of items on the menu I’d like to come back and give a try.
This is family-owned and run, so you need to have your expectations that things run a little differently if you are going to enjoy the experience. First, if no one is there to greet you when you walk in, seat yourself. Two, if you need something, you better ask. There won’t be a regular checkup to make sure you’re having a good meal. When you finish, walk up to the cashier to pay. English isn’t the first language here, but they’ll know what you want better than you do, so speak clearly or point at the menu and it’ll turn out right. I personally love the experience and it’s exactly what I want when I go to a Chinese restaurant, but I won’t pretend like it’s not confusing the first visit.
There is an authenticity to Cafe Anh Hong that I’m in love with! The restaurant is older and there haven’t been many, if any, renovations over the years. But for me, it adds to the charm of this place, and I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

I read some reviews and decided to give this place a try. We arrived and saw a man out front smoking. He saw that we were walking towards the restaurant and ended his smoke break as we’re almost to the front door. He was right in front of us and let the door fall right in front of our face (kinda funny but also like what?). Then we enter, and he’s at the front counter. No greeting, no acknowledgment (but that’s ok bc i read the review and knew what to expect). The service is what it is. It didn’t take very long for the food to come out after ordering. Food was good, better than expected but not the best. Great value for the price. Worth giving a try for sure. It’s pretty spacious inside the restaurant. No strong odors. I just wanted dim sum and glad they had the rice crepes/rolls.

The male server here is the rudest I’ve ever encountered. I want to love this place as I live close and want to be a frequent customer but the server here is making it impossible. He literally pushed me out the door when their sign and online info stated they were open. I’d fire that guy asap. The lady seems nice and actually knows what customer service is and how to be a decent human.
