Came across this place on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and dinner. Food was outstanding and fresh! Had a delicious Seafood soup dish with all types of seafood and Yuca, ceviche and shrimp appetizer. This place will not disappoint!! The flavors were fresh and tantalizing. It didn’t feel like I was eating in Jersey City. Chef Anthony is extremely kind and talented. Really glad I came encountered this restaurant.

Amazing lunch at Anthony’s Bakery, Cafe and Restaurant.
We started off with appetizers: horchata drinks and sautéed shrimp in paired plantain cups.
Followed by our mains: whole fried red snapper, with sautéed whole shrimp with fried green plantains and seafood and meat soup. I apologize because I don’t exactly know the Ecuadorian descriptions but the food was absolutely delicious!
Anthony pampered us with these amazing food and exceptional service.

Ordered a cake at 11am and at 3pm it was ready! Have you have seen such speed and love for clients? It was amazing! Super service , super taste! Everybody liked the cake so much, so soft as a cloud, not too sweet, they added nuts as I requested! I’m super satisfied! My family was in love with the cake! Will order again for sure

I am not a cake person usually. I ordered a wedding cake mainly for the look and for everyone else to enjoy. But Anthony exceeded my expectations with the look and taste of the cake. It was delicious, not dry and looked beautiful. I will never order another party cake anywhere else again. Anthony is very kind and willing to work on any design your heart desires :))) thank you so much Anthony and Ana!!!

Ordered a cake here for my best friend’s birthday in Jersey. The left pic is the inspiration pic and the right is what we got. We travelled from New York to get this disappointing cake. When we asked if they can wipe off the 24 and do it again, they said they couldn’t. You’re telling me you have all these beautiful cakes on your website but couldn’t make a simple 24 look pretty? Very disappointed. We just had to take it because the birthday party was starting soon. Would not recommend if they can’t make a cake with minimal design.

Anthony is an amazing baker! Took my order at 11 am and came was ready at 6pm. Exactly how I wanted to be, he is detail oriented and talented. Cake was delicious – we got the dulche chocolate one.

NEW OWNER ALERT! Don’t be fooled by how quiet this place is when you pass by.
You have to give this place a try. I went to visit family in the area and was in the mood for something sweet. The breads are top notch. You can’t go wrong with them. They had a certain one in particular, where it had two different fillings inside like a cheese and sweetness. Simply amazing. I ended up going back in the night before they closed to order 2 dozen bread pieces to take back home. The best part about it is they have a old historic brick oven, where the owner said he will start making all his bread in there and pizza possibly too.
