Good good. Had the small barbecue sandwich with some sauce from the table. They serve it with coleslaw if you like and pickles and mayonnaise which I added all and it was good. They make their own hot sauce so ask for it. The white beans were excellent as well. Service was good too. after we ordered We were asked a number of times if we needed anything and if everything was okay.

Southern Bell’s is definitely worth the drive, we ordered several things off the menu including pork sandwich (so good) and pizza, fries and so much more. I will definite go back when I am in the area. The owner and staff were the best and just make you feel like family- Give them a try if you are in the area- Rest your legs and enjoy a good meal with true Southern Hospitality.

The food is amazing! I always get the picnic pack for my tribe. The bbq is great but also try the chicken! Omg such an amazing flavor. Also the “trash can” is really good too! Glad to have them here in our small town!

First time eating here and have more negatives than positive things to say. First issue was customer service, the woman who took our order was nice but one of the kitchen staff were extremely rude to my girlfriend and myself. Second is about the food I had the pork which is the bread and butter of any BBQ restaurant and it was extremely bland it’s sad when the best part of the sandwich was the pickles. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my visit here and for the price of the meal I expected it to be better.

Well, everyone has raved about Southern Bell’s “Trash Can” and now I know why! It was delicious and so is their pork BBQ and burgers. Great experience, highly recommend. Glad they are a part of our community.

food was good…i had an excellent BLT and my father liked the spare ribs he got. service was good…they were empty at the time we were there. clean restaurant, clean bathrooms, friendly people. i just moved here so i am sure will be going back with my girlfriend.

Had a plate lunch of shredded BBQ, cornbread, fried okra, & corn nuggets. It hit the spot for lunch. All of it was good . Boy were they busy for a Friday, plus “Yard Sale Day” all over Cross Plains…Still had polite & friendly service.
