We ordered 2 waters and a loaded small queso. The size was maybe a cup total. The cheese dip was watery. Had the smallest amount of ground beef and came out to a staggering $16 after tax.
In the attached photo is the same amount of food from Taco Bell on the left. 4 items, 3 of which are not on the dollar menu.
My point being. Don’t come here if you want something better for the same price. A Steven special is $15. That’s rice, a smidge of chicken and cheese. I don’t think the economy has gotten that bad.
If we had ordered everything we wanted, we could have gone to a much more premium place. Hell you can get some good food for a price of $25 a person.
All we got was the smallest appetizer. Then it was straight to Taco Bell for food.
I returned the following day hoping to speak with a manager about the situation, but no manager or supervisor was available, and no one on duty was able to communicate clearly in English. I was ultimately turned away without any assistance.
This was a very disappointing experience from start to finish, and I will not be returning.
Luis Angel was our lovely server and took care of us with the utmost care and customer service.
Prompt, pleasant, and polite, the service was as wonderful as the food.
“The Manny Special” was the PERFECT choice for me. Absolutely delicious.
Please head to the airport and check out the scene at Las Fajitas.
Tell “Luis Angel” I said HELLO !
Check out their Karaoke … I sure will!
I used to enjoy going to any of their locations for the great service, generous drinks, and very tasty food. I especially enjoyed their Bella Vista location after a mountain bike ride. For over a year now though I have experienced nothing but disapointments. Eating there in person isn’t too bad and would warrant a 4 star review on that alone. The food quality and portions aren’t quite what they used to be so 4 stars on in person service is where I’ve settled there.
The glaring issues I’ve experienced are on carry out orders. The last 4 times I’ve ordered carry out over the past year have been wrong every single time. EVERY SINGLE TIME. This isn’t a one off issue and is made even more disappointing when their carryout up charge is taken into consideration. This last order referenced in my photos is exactly that, the last carryout order I’m ever doing here. I ordered a double cheesy poblano fajita dinner and a large queso blanco. As you can see they gave us a single and charged me for the double. There is only 1 package of tortillas, and it’s clearly a single size dinner based on my previous order experience. The queso is also only 75% full and the limited salsa they provide are also not full despite the tiney size of the containers. Shrinkflation is in full swing here!
In addition to all of this the attending server was almost arguing with us about our order being wrong.
Full disclosure I like to give a business multiple chances to show signs of improvement and don’t like to pass judgement on a single negative experience. The fact that I’ve had 4 poor carry out experience in the course of a year speaks volumes here.
Had the attending server listening to our complaint not refunded our most recent order I would have given them a 1 star review.
I hope the business owner reads this review and takes steps to do better. You have good recipes and your food tastes great but your poor business practices will hurt your bottom line more than giving people generous portions like you used to.
I believe in you, I know you have it in you to change and I hope you take this as an opportunity to do better.
