Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

These guys are so awesome. I came in with a tough order and an interesting scenario, and the manager came right out and helped me figure out what we needed to do for a big order. The food is great. The shakes are legendary. The prickly pearraspberry juice is really fun and tasty. Such a great experience. Highly recommend!

What’s the deal with the green tomatoes in my burger.!!!!
I should have known this visit was going to be different. I pulled up to the speaker and the girl taking my order couldn’t seem to stop laughing for something in the background that I’m sure had nothing to do with her job. To come home to take a bite out of burger and sense something was off was very disappointing. Not only were the tomatoes hard, they were green. We already pay a lot for everything due to inflation. You would think they would at least try to get things right. Not cool Whataburger!

This restaurant is exceptionally clean, and inviting. I always receive great service, friendly staff. I do not generally eat hamburgers, but I tried the Monterey Melt Burger. It was by far, the best burger I have had from anywhere. It was delicious! We usually go inside to order at the restaurant at Signal Butte Rd. It is exceptionally clean, efficient, and helpful friendly staff. Thank you to the staff for a great experience, every time!! I’m am a happy customer.

I pick up orders from this location all the time for UBER EATS. Our Customers get the orders fast and the food hot. The orders are always ready to go and the staff is friendly and the store is clean. Great job guys

Always clean, bathrooms as well. Excellent staff, attentive and friendly. Burgers so fresh off the grill I have to let them cool off a minute or so. Personal fave is the green chili double! The app is also very useful, I find you can save some time, like 5 to 10 minutes buy ordering ahead.

Im very upset today with the way my food was prepared, today I purchased food on 4/7 and had it special made. My order was a combo meal with a Burger no pickles add cheese and grilled onions extra mayo and ketchup. Not only did I not receive anything extra it was no mayo at all fries cold and my meat was still PINK!!!! This was the worst service and now I don’t think I will be back. When I called back the “Mgr” asked was I coming back I stated no and just asked her to make sure she told the cooks to follow cook time she said ok bye. Like are you serious?? I hate thatbi had to leave such a review but maybe someone else can get my message to the right person.

I spent $70 of my hard earned money to treat my family of 5 on a Take Out Night….. and have it result in meals that were not even mediocre.
5 meals:
Messy, smashed, crumbly burgers, MISSING green chile (ADDITIONAL CHARGE).
Soggy, stale, saltless fries, Medium fries with SMALL size quantity, Large fries with MEDIUM size quantity AND what was served up, were the wimpy bottom of the barrel, frozen bag fries.
Buffalo Ranch Strip sandwich was improperly sauced, chicken- naked and afraid on one side and drowning in sauce on the other, also oozing out the bun.
Large drinks served with more than half full of ice resulting in medium portion beverages. 2 of the large drinks were filled to an inch below the rim of the cup.
Forgotten medium fry AND Forgotten cookie. This crushed my child’s heart.
This was to be a treat for my family as we don’t eat out often. Sadly, our expectations for deliciousness were quickly shattered.
In the end, we ate the food because we’re not tossing $70 in the trash. We are thankful for our meals and the topic of taking Pride in your Craft as well as Self Reflection. Character is a terrible thing to waste… just like the Quality at Whataburger.

Ziad is the most CURTEOUS cashier I have ever experienced. The whole night crew on Thursday was amazing. They really seem to care about the customers, the food was made well, the lobby was clean. I was impressed with the customer service and cleanliness which is usually lacking these days. Thank you gentlemen, especially Ziad!
